Gilbert had his headphones in, silently jamming out to his favorite band, while Mathew sat in his chair trying to study.
Gilbert glanced over to see Mathew was pretty much sleeping in his chair. He smiled and stood up, as quietly as he could.
He walked up behind him, and shouted,"Boo!" as he grabbed Mathews' arms, causing Mathew to wake up with a small scream.
Gilbert started laughing, as Mathew tried to put his glasses back into place. He looked at his roommate, who was dying of laughter on the floor, trying to zone back in.
When Gilbert stopped laughing, he got off the floor and looked at Mathews confused face. Gilbert smiled and said,"You know what? We should go out and do something," Mathew looked at him and nodded.
They both started to talk about where they should go, to which they agreed to the movie theater.
As they grabbed their jackets and headed for the door, they opened it to a surprise. Elizabeta standing in the door, with her hand half way to knock.
Mathew turned to Gilbert with a confused face, to which Gilbert shrugged to. Elizabeta, catching their confused faces, said,"I came to see if you wanted to go on a date, Gilly."
Gilbert looked to Mathews face, which was suddenly turned staring at the wall. Gilbert turned back and said,"Sorry, but we've already got plans. Maybe next time?"
She smiled and said,"Oh, can I come, too?" Gilbert looked at her and said,"Well, we kind of just want to... You know, just hang out." She frowned and turned to Mathew, who snapped back into reality. She said,"Is it okay if I borrow him for a second?" But it was more of a command, since she dragged him out and shut the door.
They walked a few feet away and said to Gilbert,"I want to come."
He frowned and replied,"We just want to hang out,"
She smirked and asked,"Well, you wouldn't want anything to happen to dear-old-Mattie, would you?"
Gilbert sighed and shook his head. She smiled and said,"Good!" and walked back to get Mathew.
When they were out of the dormitory, she asked them,"So, where are we going?"

"Ugh! That movie was a total waste of time. Right, Gilly?" Elizabeta looked towards him. He sighed and replied,"Yeah," which was a lie, considering that he actually liked the movie.
"Hey, I have to use the restroom. Can you guys wait for me at the outside pillar?" Mathew said.
Gilbert and Elizabeta nodded, and headed out. When they got to the pillar, she said,"So, you and Mathew have something special going on?"
Gilbert, surprised with the sudden question, blushed and said,"No! Not at all! Just friends."
She sighed and said,"Then tell me he means nothing too you."
Gilbert shook his head and said,"No! Why would I do that?"
She smiled and said,"Because I want to be your one and only." She said, drawing out her last three words.
"Or..." She said, leaning up to his ears,"I can destroy him~" Gilbert narrowed his eyes and screamed,"FINE. MATHEW MEANS NOTHING TO ME."
A few seconds later, Mathew came out and said,"I think it's time for us to go home," and Gilbert caught up on his sad tone. As they began to walk, he slowed down so he could talk to Mathew. He said,"Hey, um... Are yoy okay?" of course, he knew that was a stupid question, even though he was pretty sure that Mathew heard what he said. Mathew mumbled a,"I'm okay." and started to walk off.
Gilbert sighed and caught up with Elizabeta, who was talking about some cute keychains that they should get.
He started to think about running after Mathew, but thought it was for the best that he left him alone.
Did Matt hear me? He thought to himself.
