(Skips to day before first day of school)
I can tell Abby is very nervous, she keeps telling me she's not but I know she is.
She told me she is planning on trying out for the volleyball team & so I told her when tryouts were so we have been practicing in the yard for the past couple days.
Tryouts are tomorrow so I can imagine how nerve racking it would be to try out for a team on your first day at a new school.

ABBYS POV
Oh dear oh dear oh dear am I nervous.
After about 20 minutes of exploring my closet I came across the perfect first day outfit.
I don't usually wear "girly" clothes so I didn't want people to think I did based on my first day of school outfit.
To show how much of a non "girly girl" I was I decided on wearing black leggings with a purple & black flannel tied around my waist with a black v-neck. To tie it off, I put on my black vans.
"You ready sweetie?" My dad asked me as I came downstairs.
I nodded quickly, grabbing a plate & eating my breakfast.
About 5 minutes later, Devin came down looking chill.
Then following him, was Lily who was looking as excited as ever.
They joined me in eating breakfast but once I finished I grab my volleyball bag & said my goodbyes bc me & Hayes were walking to school together.
Devin & Nash were riding together & then both our moms are taking our sisters.
Both of our dads work together now & they don't have to be there until noon.
"Hey Hayes." I exclaimed as I walked out of my house towards the sidewalk.
"Hello beautiful, you ready for your first day?" He asked while we embraced each other.
"As ready as I'll ever be." I responded.
He planted a quick but sweet kiss upon my lips to help calm my nerves.
For the rest of the walk we just talked about what school was like & what my old school was like.
Man, I miss Hawaii. It was such an amazing trip; no school, all beaches & a shirtless Hayes.
Dang, I can't wait till fall break.
