So I recently got into the pairing JohnDave/Pepsicola then I thought, "Why not make a fanfiction of it?" Here I am to write my first ever Homestuck fanfic. Sorry if i totally butcher the personalities.

John sat away in his room, furiously typing away on his computer to his internet friend named Dave Strider.
EB: Dave! Hey!
TG: sup
EB: Nothing much, just gagging due to my dad baking.
EB: You? :B
TG: oh cool. im just laying around in my room. bro left the house earlier so im all alone.
EB: Oh no! I wish I could be there with you!
TG: ...
EB: To keep you company of course! Hahahaha.
'Nice one John! You probably creeped him out!' John facepalmed then looked back at his computer. No response.
"I guess I did scare him off...? Maybe he'll be back later." John sighed. He stood up and cracked his back, it was very satisfying for John had been sitting for hours upon hours.
A small 'ping' errupted from his computer which caused him to sit his butt right back down.
TG: hahaha yeah I got it
EB: You scared me for a second there! I thought you were creeped out by me
TG: nah. I just went to get some snacks and shit.
EB: Oh, cool. :B
TG: yeah
John sweat nervously. Why had the conversation gotten so awkward? Usually they could talk for hours....
