I found that waiting for mark was agonizing and so I shoved more nessasary items in another bag. I put books my pencils and another pillow and blanket the rest of my good clothes and everything I need.
I sat there and waited on the porch, still trying not to remember. Not that it really worked.
When mark came to bring me to my temporary home I learned that someone was already wanting to meet me to possibly adopt me. Mark wouldn't tell me who though. We pulled up to a house that was in the older part of town. Mark walked over to the trunk to get my bags and I did so too.
The owner of the house walks up and starts talking to mark. She was about five foot and had dark brown hair.
"Jason please come help me." The lady says. She turned to me "my name is April nice to meet you." She says as she holds her hand out. I shake it and say"my name is Kayla."
Jason stepped out and looked at me for a second and grabbed my bags. I still haven't let go of the special bag. April and mark showed me to my temporary room and made sure I knew that I could call him and I wasn't required to go to school tomorrow. I nodded and everyone left me alone.
I stared at the bed that I was supposed to sleep in. I turned and grabbed my blankets and pillows and stuffed animals I put them all on the floor and Crawled into my blanket. I layed there silently crying.
After a bit I got up and started going through my special bag. There was a knock at the door and I prayed to Jesus that it wasn't Jason because he goes to my school and I have the biggest damn crush on him. The door opened a crack and Jason's blue eyes stared at me.
