My name is Daniel Stewart on the 11 of December a few days before Christmas I was taken into DHS care. It all began when I was at school in a normal day no one expected what was about to happen I was called to the office. Three men stood there they were with DHS they asked me questions to make sure I was in a stable home.
They released me for lunch and my therapist told me what ever happens keep a calm state of mind. around 1 o'clock I got checked out when i walk into the office my mom is crying telling me she is sorry and we will be back together soon my sister is freaking out my Dad is furious and i have no idea whats going on until my older sister walks up to me and hugs me and said i am so sorry we are going with DHS. I sit in the car on the way there all i can do is think what will happen to my sister what if I never see here again.
when we get to the foster home I look around and see 3 babies 5 teen girls sitting under a tree talking and a group of boys my age playing basket ball. we stay at this place for 2 weeks and in that two weeks we were finally getting used to the school and the home when I get off the bus my sister is no where to be found I ask my foster parents and they said DHS took her to little Rock I was pissed when I go to my room I lay on my bad and a boy named Dustin is playing the radio it is on rap I hate rap so I ask him to turn it off or get some headphones he doesn't answer so i walk over to his bed and slam the radio into the wall.
Later that night my mom calls she is in rehab for 3 months. I was mad that my sister was gone now worried that my mom could go into a long term facility and be there for 5 years so naturally I have a short fuse at school some kid made a statement about me being in foster care at school and got kicked out of that place for fighting.
