Miller had just left the group and walked out of the cafeteria with Raina and Hayden. The group had some awkward silence.
"So anyone got any good stories?" Jack asked trying to break the silence.
"Oooh! I do. So the weirdest thing happened to me today," Angela said.
"What was it?" Estella asked.
"I didn't expect you to want to know Estella," Angela said smiling. Estella scoffed and crossed her arms.
"I-I mean I don't. I could care less if you told us or not. Why am I even sitting with you?" Estella said.
"Because we're friends," Angela said.
"On with the story," Ariel said. Angela was about to speak again but the principal walked into the cafeteria with a microphone and the whole place went dead silence. The principal cleared his throat.
"Ahem. I have an announce to make. So as many of you may or may not Florida's Gators college game is tonight and I have some tickets. If you decide to attend the game you will get some college points for the Gator College," the principal said and took a look at Angela, "So if anyone would like some tickets please come into my office. I felt this needed to be in person or else some people would ignore my message. Thank you that will be all." The principal left the cafeteria and people started talking again.
"So Angela about the story," Jack said.
"I'm going to go get us some tickets first. Anyone else want one?" Angela said while getting up from her seat.
"Really Angela? Finish the story first," Dawson said.
"The story can wait, these tickets can't. I'm just going to get 6 tickets okay? Okay, good bye," Angela said and walked out of the cafeteria. She walked to the principals office and felt a strange feeling as she did earlier this day. She saw Miller walking with Raina and Hayden back to the cafeteria.
"Hey Miller!" Angela said and waved to Miller. Miller looked around, even looking straight at her but did not seem to notice her.
"Did you guys hear someone calling my name?" Miller asked.
"Yeah. Probably from the cafeteria, let's go," Raina said. They passed by Angela like they didn't even see her. Angela started to think that they were ignoring her, that Miller didn't want to go to the game. She decided to not buy a ticket for him and her funny feeling went away. She entered the principal's office.
"Hello Ms.Smith. How many tickets would you like?" The principal asked.
"5 tickets please," Angela said and smiled.
"For which students?" The principal asked.
"Jack Hudson, Estella White, Ariel Taylor, Dawson Peterson, and myself," Angela said.
"What about your friend Miller Miller?" The principal asked, "Is he getting his own tickets?"
"I'm mad at him right now. So if he is going, he is not sitting near me," Angela said.
"Ah I see. Why are you mad at him?" The principal asked.
"Why do you care? Can I have my tickets now?" Angela asked angered a bit.
"Yes," the principal said handing her tickets. "I gave you 6 tickets just in case you change your mind."
"I won't but thanks," Angela said. She walked out of the office and threw one of the tickets in the trash. The bell rung signalling the next class to start.
