We had walked for like half and hour when Arya made me trip.
I was shocked, because she had been so nice to me the past thirty minutes. She made it look like an accident and walked further. I laid on the ground in confusion. Then I heard some noises by my side and felt something licking my face. I turned my head and faced Jace's little wolf.
Jace sat next to me.
"Are you okay?" He asked and he grabbed his wolf that wouldn't stop licking my face.
Curse you Arya curse you..
"Uhm yeah..I'm okay..thanks" I tried to get up and smiled.
As we both stood I tried to rub away the dirt from my face. I noticed my hand was bleeding so instead of cleaning my face I covered it with red stripes.
"Well that didn't go the way I planned" I sniggered.
Jace began to laugh and rubbed a red stripe away with a little of his saliva.
"Much better don't you think?"
I nodded and couldn't stop smiling.
"Are you two coming or what??" Arya shouted with a big smile on her face.
"Ehh..I guess we should ehh.." I said nodding towards Arya.
"Yeah.." He started walking again and I followed.
Arya let Jace pass and came walking next to me.
"Aaaaand..did it work??" She asked, her eyes twinkling.
"Please don't ever do such a thing again!!" I laughed
"So it worked" she said happily, crossing her arms.
"Hmm no it didn't" I said teasingly.
"It did!! Don't lie to me" she laughed and Jace turned his head, looking confused.
"It's nothing. We're just having a little fun" Arya shouted.
I giggled a bit, which is very VERY girly and so not me..
"Can I come to your wedding?"
"ARYA!!!"
We both started laughing very hard. We laughed so hard we didn't notice Jace had stopped walking.
I almost bumped into Jace.
"Do you hear that?" He whispered.
I listened attentively.
"Water?"
He nodded "I think so"
"That should be the river" Arya mentioned "I'll leave you from there, you both cross the river and I go back to the village."
To be honest, I was disappointed.
I only knew Arya for like an hour but I knew I would miss her..a lot..
We walked a bit further and huge wild river loomed.
There was no bridge or such a thing, only a few rocks.
The rocks seemed slippery and wet. They were very flat and small.
The river ended in a huge waterfall a few metres further.
"You're kidding right?" Jace asked Arya.
"Uhm no, you have to cross this river and there's no other way than using the rocks in the water.."
"Can I go first, pleaaaase??" It seemed fun. I tried to look cute.
"You mean you WANT to cross this?" Jace looked at me in disbelieve.
