[Merman] Nanase Haruka x Reader

Chapter 1: Iwatobi and Samezuka

Under the deep blue sea, you can find a lot of sea creatures swimming. The sea of Iwatobi is always calm and gentle. Then, something is swimming faster and faster. 

"Haru! Wait up!"

The young merman immediately stops and looked behind. He has short, dark hair and blue eyes. What makes him attractive were his pair of blue eyes that sparkles like the deep blue sea. His tail is a light blue colour. 

Three mermen came by.  They stopped and were breathing hard. Haruka just look at them. 

"Mou, Haruka-senpai! You're too fast!" Ryugazaki Rei shouted. Rei has short, dark blue hair and he adjusted his pair of red-framed glasses as he opens his purple eyes. "That's not beautiful!!!"

"Rei-chan, you need more training," said the Hazuki Nagisa. Nagisa is much shorter than the three. His hair is wavy, honey-blond hair and crimson eyes. You can say he is cute due to his cheerful personality.

"Haru, you should have wait for us," Tachibana Makoto complains. Makoto is a muscular, young man with short, olive brown hair and droopy green eyes. He is actually watching out all of them. 

"Hey everyone, let's go to our usual place! What do you say?" Nagisa suggested.

They looked at each other and nodded. Soon, they were swimming up the surface until they hang around themselves on some rocks. The sun was slowly setting down and how they love to admire the sunset.

"Beautiful~!!" Rei shouted with his eyes shining brightly. "Now, that is what I called beautiful!"

"Rei-chan's perfectionist is coming out," said Nagisa as he looked at Rei.

"The sunset is always beautiful especially when it is shining around the land of Samezuka," said Makoto.

"Samezuka...," Nagisa repeated the word.

"That is where the human race live, Nagisa-kun," began Rei. "We do have the same features except for one. We have tails and theirs are called legs."

"Waaa...hmm...I wonder what it will be like to have legs," said Nagisa as he laughed.

"Come on, guys. It's getting late. Let's go home," said Makoto.

"Kay~" Nagisa and Rei shouted.

Once the three of them went back to the sea, Haruka was still looking at the land of Samezuka. Somewhere inside him, he wanted to know what it is like to be living in Samezuka. 

"Time to go back...," said Haruka.

Before he was about to dive back, he saw a young girl walking along the sand. The wind was blowing her mid-shoulder auburn hair and auburn eyes that was actually admiring the sunset and the sea. She closes her eyes as she listens to the waves. Haruka looked at her for a while until Makoto called him.

"Haru!" Makoto shouted from the sea.

"Coming!" Haruka responded.

With one last look, he return to the sea and kept on thinking about her.
