Chapter 27

I feel as though I should put a warning here? I mean I think you all know what's ahead but I thought I should put a disclaimer.
The wall meets your back, Van pressing against you. The familiar taste of cigarettes greets you. Lips parted. He was back.
"I love you so goddamn much." You manage to whisper between each kiss.
"I love you too."
More kissing. It was getting more and more passionate by the second.
"Shall we go upstairs?" You pull away, eyes wide. With a brief nod Van picks you up bridal style and proceeds to carry you up the stairs. He puts you down on the bed and continues to kiss you, slowly moving away from your mouth and down your neck. Shivers go down your spine. You unbutton his shirt and throw it on the ground. He slips off your shirt. You take off his trousers. He slips off your underwear. Before you know it he's on top of you, placing gentle kisses on your stomach, right where Matthew kicked you on the ground. You sigh and pull his head up to yours and kiss him. Once. Twice. He pulls away. And then you are one. The heat of his body against yours. What was once two beings has now merged into one. Brown locks of hair go in his face. His eyes roll back so you can no longer see the sky trapped in them. His necklace swinging in unison with his fast movements.

Crumpets in the toaster, check. Kettle on, check. You lean against the kitchen counter as Van winds his arms around your waist and snuggles into you.
"Babe, you know you call tell me anything right?"
"Of course Ryan."
"What's up with the bruise on your stomach?"
You sigh deeply. Eventually you knew you'd have to tell him but you thought in the heat of last nights moment he wouldn't of noticed.
"Matthew."
"Matthew?" He whispers. You nod, biting your lip.
"Mary, what happened?" His voice stern.
"I'll tell you over breakfast."
---------------------------------------------
"That asshole, I'm gonna fucking kill him!" Van yells.
"Shh, Liv's asleep and Larry probably is too."
"Oh right, sorry. But that doesn't excuse him for what he's done to you. I'm calling the police."
"No Van, you can't." You say grabbing his arm as he goes to pick up his phone.
"Why not?" He asks, a suspicious look etched on his face. You look down in shame,
"I brought weed off him."
Van's face falls in a look of shock and disbelief.
