"Moonlight"

I got in the car with Kayle and didn't say a word the whole car ride. Kayle kept staring at me, I shushed her knowing she would squeal. Once we got home, I ran upstairs and into the bathroom door before Kayle could catch up to me. "Dude! He kissed you!!" Kayle squealed. "Shut up, Geo might hear you!" I whispered.

I got into my pajamas so I could lay in bed and watch Netflix but I heard a tap on my window. I saw Jovani standing outside in a tux with a bunch of roses. I opened the window and whisper-shouted that I'd be right down. I put on a cute dress and and went out of the window and climbed down the tree. As I was going down I fell. I waited for the impact but Jovani caught me. "Do I always have to save you from falling?" He laughed. "I guess so" I blushed. He gently put me back on my feet and gave me the flowers. They were light and lavender carnations. "How did you know these are my favorite?" I said as I sniffed the beautiful flowers. "Kayle told me" he laughed. He kissed me on the forehead and held my hand. I quickly snapped out of it. "Let's go before Geo or my parents see...where are we going anyway?" I said quietly. We went to the lake behind my house. When we reached the lake I noticed a picnic was set up. I sat on the blanket and stared at the lake shining in the moonlight. So cliche...but he knows I love a good cliche.  He noticed me blushing and kissed me on the cheek. I blushed even more. "What am I too cute for you to handle?" He laughed. "Maybe" I laughed back. He grabbed the lasagna out of the picnic basket and put some on a plate for me. "It's my mom's homemade recipe" he said. "Awww thanks, it's great babe" I said after I toke a bite of the lasagna. I stared at the lake the reflected the moon and the stars. I looked to notice him staring at me. "I think you got it twisted I think I'm too cute to handle considering you keep staring at me" I laughed. "Yeah your right" he laughed. He leaned in to kiss me but a pinecone fell on his head and he leaned back. "I guess that pinecone doesn't like you" I laughed. I have the dumbest jokes ever I thought to myself. "I guess not" he said. I looked at my phone and noticed it was 11:00. "Shit it's past my curfew, my parents are going to come into my room to say goodnight any minute now! I have to get back quickly!" I said as I grabbed my purse and helped pack up. We ran back holding hands the whole time. As soon as we got to the tree outside my window, I thanked him for the date. He pulled me in close and kissed me. I climbed up the tree and as I was climbing my perfume fell out of my purse. I got inside my room and put my purse down. "Psssssssst Amber,you dropped your moonlight perfume" he laughed. "I hope it doesn't burn like the cream" he laughed. He tossed it up and I caught it. "Thanks babe" I said softly, I closed my window, put on my pajamas, and went to sleep.
