It was another Saturday morning, like every else. You woke up early and headed to your bathroom to get ready for the day ahead.

After brushing your teeth and hair, you changed into a lilac sports bra and three-quarter black leggings. You put your long ashy blonde hair into a neat braid and put on your Nike running shoes, colour matching your bra. You took your iPhone from its charger by your bed and went downstairs to the kitchen.

"Hi everyone" you smiled at your family, grabbed an apple and shouted from the door "Going for a run!"

You put the music on, Black Veil Brides and Sleeping With Sirens mix was on replay and you made your way down the sidewalk leading to the small forest nearby.

It was another beautiful spring morning and you wandered aimlessly through the awakening nature and the soft sounds of Saviour, The Mortician's Daughter, All My Heart...

When you took in the sights of the trees, little Blue Monarchs to whom you whispered a wish, the bright sunlight through the treetops, you walked over to a giant oak that had fallen many years ago and pulled the earphones out.

Inhaling the fresh air, you smelled the rain coming in, and the scent of flowers by the creek. Closing your eyes you focused on the sounds and noises filling your ears with sweetness as you heard a couple of chipmunks above your head and a few birds over at the creek.

You were calm and relaxed until a hand reached for your shoulder and disrupted it.

"Hey beautiful" a low, raspy voice broke the sweet silence and made you jump. You wanted to scream, but as you turned to him, his electric blue eyes pierced you right down to your soul, removing the dust and stirring the surface of now melted ice.

"Andy?" you recognized the jet black mohawk, lip ring and a proud eyebrow from few doors down.

"Lexi?" his eyes glowed even more and the corner of his lips pulled up into a toothy smile, revealing his perfect pearly whites.

"Wow, can't believe you're here!"

"Me neither!" you leaned towards him and his slender arms embraced you in a hug that felt like it was tailored for you.

"What brings you here?"

"I was just writing some new lyrics, not much really!" Andy replied nervously and scratched the back of his head before teasing his jet black hair.

"Ooo, let me hear it!"

Andy is your neighbour that lives three houses down the street from you and you went to the same school until a few months ago. You were great friends for quite a while, since you were born pretty much because he was two years older.

"But there's no music..." he explained sadly but you didn't give in.

"It doesn't matter, you can just read, you don't have to sing."

"Okay. Just a sec" he took a deep breath and grabbed his big black notebook. As he was flipping through the pages, you took a few sneak peaks and saw a lot of black and gray drawings, they looked like tattoo designs. When you recognized a few he already had, you were sure it were ideas for new ones. On the pages were also lyrics to about fifty or more songs, very few looked familiar from before, he must've been working on a new album.

"Ah; here it is.

You've been running for so long, still breathing

Hoping soon to find a song worth singing

Every chapter of this note they're reading

But you're slowly losing hope on bleeding

I'll carry you, my darkest desire
