"See you soon, sport" you said with tears in your eyes as you said goodbye to Alan at the airport

"Don't cry, babe" Alan cooed and cloaked you in a warm hug, placing his chin on the top of your head and rocking left to right

"I'll be home in two weeks, okay?"

"Okay, take care" you sniffled and placed a soft kiss on his cheek

"Promise." he replied and kissed your forehead before heading off to his flight.

As he joined the rest of guys, he turned to you and waved before walking away and you waved back, a smile on your face because his dream has come true.

Alan has just graduated highschool and he was finally able to go on tour with the rest of the Of Mice & Men. He was only a year older than you and has grown on you like a brother since you met so this was very hard and very exciting at the same time. You knew how much he loved playing but also how much you'd miss him.

*two weeks later*

"Hey theeeere, sis" Alan called your phone

"Hey, bro" you replied with a chuckle

"Uhm, we're boarding right now, we should be at the airport in about 4-5 hours, see you there?"

"Absolutely! Can't wait to see you!"

"The feeling's mutual, there's so much I gotta fill you in on!"

"Me too! But you're probably gonna be tired, should I just rent a movie?" you said while biting your lower lip.

"Sounds good!" Alan replied with a slight laughter

"Uuuuhm, which one?"

"Surprise me!" Alan said "Gotta go, [Y/nickname], see ya in a bit!"

"Okay, bye, hun!" you said and hung up.

You got ready really quickly, grabbed your casual outfit which consisted of baggy light gray sweatpants and an Of Mice & Men crewneck. You pulled your hair into a high ponytail and slipped on a pair of black Vans on your way down. You looked at yourself in the mirror by the door and made a Blue Steel face before deciding you don't really care about makeup, or actually, having no makeup, because it was Alan and he already knows what you looked like without makeup. You slowly walked to the airport, blasting music through your earphones.

"Hey, Alan!" you waved to him across the main part of the airport as you saw him walk through the gates.

"Hola there, [Y/N]" he replied and ran over to you, met halfway by your firm hug.

"Woah, you really missed me" he said as a reply to your strong and rather tight hug.

"Like crazy!" you said and felt his arms around your ribs clench stronger. You two got some wolf whistles by the rest of the band as they walked by so you let go of Alan and glared at Austin, as did Alan but the two of them smiled at eachother and the band walked away.

"Aren't you going out for a drink or something together?" you asked Alan confused and he shrugged "I'd rather go home and watch a movie with you"

"That's kinda sweet, you know?"

He laughed shortly and said "I know" he said and placed a long kiss in your hair.

"Come on, let's go home, I'm pretty tired" he said and took your hand in his with a bright smile. You smiled back and enjoyed holding his warm hand as you were walking back to your house.

"Just put the bags down the hall, you'll be staying over, right?" you said as you flicked the lights in your house on.

"Mhmm" Alan mumbled and threw his duffel bags a few feat across the hall and joined you on the living room couch.

"Hi, Mr. and Mrs. [Y/L/N]!" Alan waved to your parents at the table in the dining room and plopped down on the couch as you got some popcorn and juice from the kitchen.

"How was the tour?" your mum asked and Alan started talking about the concerts, his eyes glowing like a kid's on Christmas morning.

"It sounds like it was really great!" your dad exclaimed and Alan agreed by nodding his head

"Sooo much fun! Although, it would have been even better if [Y/N] was with me..."

"I'll come with next time!" you shouted from the kitchen and made your way back to Alan, giving your dad a kiss on the cheek on the way.

"Promise?" Alan made a puppy face

"Yes" you replied and pecked his cheek after setting the popcorn and glasses on the coffee table in front of the couch.

"Mum, dad?" you asked in a childish tone of voice as you sat down beside Alan on the couch "Is it okay if Alan stays over tonight?"

"Sure, why wouldn't it be? You can stay here or go out or whatever you want, just go to sleep in your bed, okay, [Y/N]? Alan can sleep on the spare matress in your room or your brother's room"

"Thanks, you're very sweet to me" out of nowhere chimed Alan

"It's no problem!" your mum said and continued "We have to go somewhere in the evening so you two will have the house to yourselves, don't set it on fire and have fun!"

"Will do!" you and Alan replied in unison before turning your attention to the tv screen.

You pressed play and snuggled closer to Alan, burying yourself in his warm embrace.

"Ninth Gate?" Alan asked as he got the blanket from behind him and you nodded "Mhmm. Cover me, please?" you said in your cutest voice and bit your lower lip playfully.

"Reading your mind" Alan smiled as he put the blanket over you

"Thanks" you chimed and placed your head on his shoulder whilst he rubbed your right shoulder.

Halfway through the film, you had started to feel very tired so you looked up at Alan who was fast asleep. You yawned and regained your spot on his shoulder after he shifted.

"Sleep well, hun" you said and closed your eyes, falling asleep by your bestfriend, ignoring the movie completely.
