Deadly Beauty

Chapter 2

As soon as training was over, all of us girls walked back to the locker room. I streatched and yawned, still feeling a little sleepy. Not to mention my major headache I have.

"That was a nice demonstration you gave there." Riley walked past me and took a seat on the bench. She leaned forward and started to open up her locker. 

"Thanks. You did really well on those punch excercises. I dont know why, but i've always been on the more 'use your legs side'. I was born a kicker" I joked. 

"Hahaha. Very funny." Riley rolled her eyes and stood up. She took off her clothes and replaced them with her original ones. Today, Riley was wearing a sky blue tee, with white skinny jeans and black lace up army boots. The sky blue of her shirt complimented her kind green eyes and her short angle cut  copper hair. Riley had the power of nature, meaning she could control trees and plants and stuff, which personally I found really cool!

I changed into my clothes and once I was finished, I turned to face Riley. 

"Ready?" I asked. 

"Yup!"

Riley and walked to our next class, which was really just a simulation of various missions. 

"Agent 206, to mission center. I repeat Agent 206 to mission center." A voice over the intercom had called my agent number. Which ment I was either going to get a new mission, or going to get scolded for doing something wrong in a mission that I either failed, or succeeded in. As far as I could tell, I havent done anything wrong.....considering that the captain was satisfied with my accomplishment. 

I sighed. "Well, looks like they want me up in mission control." I pointed behind me with my thumb and began to walk backwards. 

"A new mission already? Sheesh, I feel bad for you" 

"I know right?!" I waved goodbye to Riley, turned around and began my walk to the mission center.

"Good to see you, Agent 206." Greeted Mr. Jones. Apperently, Mr. Jones insits on being called 'Sir'

"Good to see you to Sir," I replied and took a seat at Mr. Jones desk. 

"Agent, I want to start off with congradulating you on your success yesterday."

"Thank you Sir although it was my first mission alone, it was a peice of cake." I smirked.

"Good to hear agent. Now you may be wondering why where calling you down to mission control. I know this is very sudden, but we are giving you a new mission." 

Shoot.

Apparently, this 'new mission' is the worst situation I could possibly be in right now. Why? Becuase

Number one: It was the hardest.

Number two: It was to be done outside of the saftey of Venomtown, which was hidden from the human world. You see, pretty much everyone who lives here in Venomtown, are mutants with powers. Only the highest members of the world government know about Venomtown and anyone who does find out is killed. If humans where to find out about mutants, they would kill us all and destroy the balance of the world. Therefore, mutants remain inclosed in Venomtown. The only mutants to ever to have been outside Venomtown are the pretty much special agents who've graduated, Black Bird, one other famous mutants (I forgot her name), the Mutants who have escaped to join Black Bird, and....well, me becuase Captain found me in a human orphanage. So, for the second time in my life, I would be leaving the only place I've ever been able to call home, and would have to pose as a normal american Highschool student.
