You know, the human world isn't much different from Venomtown. I mean yeah, it's filled with humans...but, I mean it's not like mutants look different. We don't have weird deformities or green skin, we just have powers.

Some mutants have an element power, but can use it in many different ways. For example, Riley has the power to grow plants, but she can also move earth and control rocks. So, Riley's element is earth. To be more specific she's a mutliple aspect earth user, and to be more general she's a M.A. element user.

Here's another example, Kyle can control fire, he has the ability to create and manipulate fire but thats really all he can do...meaning that he's a regualar element user. So, some mutants have one element power that covers all aspects, and some can only control one aspect of that element. Those mutants we classify as naturals, meaning their power comes from a natural substance.

Other mutants, whose powers cannot be classified as an element are called Indiosyncratics. Most mutants just use the term Individs, becuase it sounds way cooler and is easier to say.

Anyways, in the mutant world...there aren't alot of individs. In fact, out of 100% of mutants, roughly 65% are Naturals, leaving the remaining 35% Individs. Individs are devided into three sections, unlike naturals, which are only devided into two sections.

For example, Captain has the power to mimic other powers, but not to it's fullest extent. Captains power is a unique one, which we call Indiosyncratic special (or Individ 'S'), meaning it's one of the only individ powers of it's kind.

Indivds with powers that commonly appear in individs are called, Indiosyncratic 'C' (or Individ 'C'), the 'C' standing for 'Common'. 

One example of a indiosyncratic 'c' power that is common among mutants is telepathy, another one is super strength, and flight,Compulsion, healing. The list goes on. Actually, Max is individ 'C', he has Super strength abilities.  

Then there are the extremely rare Individs, the ones who use more than one power. These individs are both indiosyncratic special and indiosyncratic 'c'. They can have common individ powers, as well as special individ powers, heck they can even have multiple individ powers. We call these Indiosyncratic X (or Individ X). The X means the power source is unknown and extremely rare.

There has only ever been 3 Invid X's ever to walk on this earth. Only one of them is known to certainly be alive. That person is Black Bird. Not only does he have an individ 'C' power, he has an individ 'S' power, he can use compulsion, and has the power to kill someone with by just looking them in the eye. 

It's kind of like Medusa, only he learned to control it.

One Individ X we often learn about went missing about a year or two before Black Bird did....which was about 19 years ago. I never really payed attention to what her name was. But apparently everyone loved her, she had the individ 'c' power to heal, but also had the ability to see the dead. She liked to call her ability to see and speak to the dead, Deathsight. 

The first person ever known to have the individ 'x' power lived  nearly hundreds of years ago, I don't bother to think about him. Especially becuase his story is so boring.

Anyways, that's mutants 101 for you. The reason why I'm thinking about this? Well, it's basically becuase I almost discovered what my power was today....meaning I almost broke our cover. Which means, that me Alexandra Crest,  a.k.a the top agent at the academy screwed up, and it almost cost us the mission.
