Orchid and Addilyn

Addilyn's POV:
One minute I was asleep next to Orchid, the next ice is creeping it's way up my body as I try to explain to her that the principal is basically an ice queen and this school is her castle. Before I realize what's happening, I just hear these godawful screams and a breath being sucked from someone, like something had just pierced their flesh. My eyes adjust to the sharp light and my skin breaks out in goosebumps, this cold came out of nowhere. I look around as I struggle up to my feet, a circle of students is gathered around me, why are they staring at me with such wide eyes, I swear I haven't done anything wrong!! Then a thought strikes me, maybe they aren't looking at me, maybe they are looking at something behind me! I slowly turn, afraid of what lies behind me. As my eyes search the pool of blood, I see her lying there, lifeless. Now it was my turn to release a god awful scream. I hear the kids around me begin to scream as well, but for another reason, a dark black feather falls onto Orchid. I turn around and I watch in horror as the crows begin swarming all around, attacking every single person near me. I didn't mean to summon them, Jesus, I will definitely hear about this later! I hear a women yelling over the crows calls and the students screams, she is saying something about needing to reach the other side of this chaos in order to save the dead girl. The crows all fall to the ground as my head drops and tears begin to just pour out, she's dead! I thought she was just unconscious, that women has taken her little war too far, she has crossed her own niece! I watch as the nurse takes out a silver bar about the length of her forearm, it has a blue electrical current running through it. I see her strike orchid on the head with it, orchid disappears. The nurse then hits her own head with the strange device and she too disappears.

Orchid's POV:
My eyes capture a white light, the urge to walk into it is unbearable, but my ears hear this beautiful voice and I feel this pulling on my heart as this voice breaks and begins to cry out. This makes me turn away from the light, and just sit back down in the hospital chair that I had been in for hours. No one has really passed through, but the few people I saw; they followed the light and well, they never returned. I feel goosebumps begin to cover my whole body as I hear a familiar sound of crows calling out and the wind force they created, was so strong and unbearably cold. I can still hear the chirp of crows ringing in my ears. I try to move, but it's impossible, all I have are my stupid thoughts. I've heard of this somewhere, where people in commas hear everything, but are unresponsive. I think I'm in a coma, but I don't really know for sure. That last thing I remembered was an excruciating pain shooting from my chest causing me to scream at the top of my lungs and then total darkness. I pray I wake up soon, I don't want someone spending all their time worrying and taking care of me. For now, I guess it's just you and me, mind. I overhear the nurse and a girl talking.
Nurse: Calley have you ever brought a girl out of a severe comma?
Calley: No, but it couldn't hurt to try!
Nurse: Well what are you waiting for, heal the girl!
Calley: I'm on it Nurse Evers.
I then feel a cold hand on my forehead that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. But as soon as that joyful feeling came, it left, replaced by a blast of cold air. I hear the monitor start to flat line. Hell no, I can't die now, I've only had 22 years on this Earth!

Addilyn's POV:
I had Blue-Bell keep an eye out for Orchid, while she was in the clinic. I sat by the window, in English, in case he came back with any news. Oh forgot you don't know who Blue-Bell is! Well he is basically my best friend, ever since I was a child, my mother, Adara The Fire Queen, had got him for me as a present for my 4th birthday. He is a cute little bluebird and he sings little songs with me all the time. I have the power to communicate with animals and I have a great bond with almost every single animal in the surrounding countryside of the school. A little chirp chirp breaks my thoughts and I focus back on reality. I see Blue Bell flying towards the window, full speed.
Blue Bell: Orchid...she(takes deep breath)is dying!
As soon as the words left his mouth I fly out of the classroom at lightning speed, ignoring Ms. Michaels annoying calls. I speed towards the clinic and arrive in under five minutes, with my face flushed and my heart beating at 100 miles per hour, and not because I just ran forever to get here, but because I'm freaking out. I run into Orchid's room and let out a breath, I didn't even realize I had been holding, she is fine. My blue eyes see her lying there, motionless, but breathing. I sit by her side and sing to her, hoping that might wake her up. I sing for hours until my throat became sore. I sigh and began to weep, even though I just met her, as corny as it sounds, I feel as if I've know her forever. She is kind, but is honest, even if the truth hurts, she says it. I adore her for that and her smile, I swear lights up the world, her eyes make me stare, they remind me of a million stars shining bright in the darkest night. She seems like such a genuine person, I wish she would just open those gorgeous green eyes of hers, so I could get to know her. I then lean down and place my lips on hers and when she began to kiss me back, that made me cry harder because I knew she was back to us, back with me. He salty tears hit our lips, that are still interlocked, I lick the tear and the slide my tongue into her mouth. After a few minutes we break apart.
She says breathlessly "finally"
I smile at her and can't help, but place my lips back on hers. We soon find ourselves tangled into each other, kissing and soon enough talking, again, but that's ok I don't mind talking to her.

Orchid's POV:
I remember the melody, the tears, and the kiss. She had actually kissed me, finally! I was waiting for her lips, but I didn't want to rush things with her, she was different from other girls. She didn't deserve the lust, she deserved the love, which I was willing to give her. We quickly became the talk of the school. They called us god awful names, they thought we were hooking up, like a couple of skanks! That's what the dumb students were saying, they honestly didn't know how much more this was, how much she meant to me and how much I meant to her. Two months have passed since the "incident." Me and Addilyn made it official a week after the icicle pierced my chest. The smell of  foul-play still seeps it's way through the air. I don't wanna loose anyone again, I have already lost my mother and I almost lost Addilyn to that creepy ass principal. Whatever this thing is, it needs to turn around and walk itself on home.
