Behind Closed Doors

Chapter 1

It is only 6 a.m and I'm already awake. Today is my first day of college and I'm so eager. Though I am a bit intimidated because I'm not the best at making friends. "Alex are you ready?" my dad asked. " Yes, I'll be down in a minute."

After desperate hours in the car with my dad, mum and my little brother Nick, we finally got there. My mum hugged me for about ten times already. I was about to go in so I took my bags and followed the others. I was waiting for others to get in when I dropped my bag " Here you go, I'm Tammy", "Oh thanks, I'm Alex, first year." She looked so bubbly and I think that I just made my first friend.

" So Tammy, what room are you in?" I asked her. " I don't know, I still have to go check with my friends, you can come with" she said. " Tammy!!" this guy was yelling " Don't mind him, he's just my annoying step-brother Tyler" He walked towards us with a girl hooked on his arm. I could already sense that he was trouble.

"Hey sis, and who's this?" Tyler asked with a disgusted look. "I'm Alex" I said for myself. "Okay, well anyway", he looked back at his sister, "Today I need to use your car because mine broke down and I don't know how I'm getting to Katie's party." " We'll see about that" she said and we started walking to meet with her friends. When we got there I saw three guys and two girls.

The blonde guy said his name was Ryder. He was really tall and seemed quiet. Another guy introduced himself as Evan. He looked like he was the funny one. Lastly, I met Jordan, he was really attractive. The girls introduced themselves as Naomi and Miri. They were both really pretty and seemed welcoming.

We went to check our room allocations and mine was 127. I left the group to go and settle in my room. As I got in I saw this blonde skinny girl. " Hi I'm Alex" I said. "Don't touch my stuff Alex." Well wow we are so going to be friends. Omg I'm so hungry right now! Why am I always hungry?!When I looked at her face, I noticed that she was the same girl that was with Tammy's brother hours ago.  She is so pretty with her long blonde silk hair and her skinny tall figure. I'm sure she could be a model. " So you're friends with my boyfriend's sister" " Tyler is your boyfriend?" I asked. " Yepp duh I mean look at him and look at me, isn't it obvious?"

I just got my headphones and started to listen to my favourite songs from my phone and ignored her. " Babe omg!, what the hell am I going to wear to Katie's party! I want to be the hottest one there for Tyler so maybe I won't sleep in my room tonight." I figured my roommate was on her phone. Ugh why did I have to hear that even while I'm listening to music.

After a whole half an hour on the phone she left me alone singing in the room.

Yeah, reckless behavior

My phone buzzes and I see a message from Tammy: Tonight you're coming to Katie's party with me so you can make some more friends and I don't really trust my brother with my car. Wow this is going to be just great!
