Hi! Thanks to @HeyItsJodieG for making my awesome new cover and for putting up with all my nagging and whining and all that while making it. Thanks again!

A lot had changed after the whole counselor thing. Apparently, everyone had heard my confession that day except for my family which, I was very grateful to Ms. Applebee and the rest of the staff. They had finally kept their mouth shut, for once. Not that they did it for my sake. It was probably to prevent having another issue to deal with. Either way, I was grateful.

But the students who heard, they all stared at me as I walked down the halls. The fact that it didn't change didn't bug me. I had grown accustomed to it.

A finger tapped my shoulder and I turned, only to see a familiar face who said, "Hi." Before I could process what happened, they left.

Julian, who never left me alone, smiled encouragingly at me. He took my hand in his and led the way. A smile made its way to my face. He noticed people's attitude changing ever so slightly and my reaction to them, but he never said anything. He was just encouraging.

There was one, though, that was so ... unfathomable, he didn't ... act like he normally did. I didn't think anyone could have been. It was a when little boy who looked like my younger brother came out of nowhere, tapped my waist because he couldn't reach any higher, and said, "Hi. I'm sorry I stared at you every time you passed by in the halls. But it isn't because you're weird or anything," he added hastily. "You're just really pretty."

My eyes literally bulged out of its sockets as the boy kissed my cheek and ran away. I blushed beet red while Julian and Nav had the pleasure of witnessing the event.

"Oh, man!" Julian said at first. "That was adorable!"

"He's so cute!" Nav added. "I never knew there was another boy as forward as our lover boy here." Julian sent her a glare when she said that though. I wonder why. "How do you think he got in the school?"

I shrugged. I had the feeling those who saw that little encounter would be whispering and gossiping about it, making me the center of attention once again, as if I hadn't already done that. I knew, though, it would die soon. Gossips lasts for at least ... what? Ninety-eight days? Either way, as long as I never see that boy again in public, everything will return to normal.

But you seriously think fate, as Julian likes to call it, let me?

We had walked to our next class, me glaring at the two walking in front of me as they laughed about our - rather, my - little encounter with the boy.

The second we walked into class, though, they shut up. Little Boy apparently wasn't so little like we thought. He sat there on the desk behind Julian’s, and mine smiling like an adorable little puppy who just got a toy.

I gave him a weak smile as he waved like crazy at me. Nav giggled as she made her way to the seat next to him. Julian, on the other hand, scowled at the boy, not a bit of humour on his face. His demeanor changed in a snap. "Little" Boy eagerly returned it though. You could have cut the tension in the air with a butter knife.

"Hi," Little Boy said as we sat on our seats. "I'm guessing from your expression, you were quite surprised. I'm new here - at least, to the class. I got transferred from Drama. Apparently, using your skills to get out of detention was a big no-no."

Nav's elbow slipped on the table, causing her head to drop on the hard surface. Our heads snapped to her with worry, but she had a shocked expression on her face and I'm guessing it wasn't from the slip. "You did that?" she asked. "Holy shit. I thought I was the only one who tried that! I'm Navreet, Pretty-Girl-over-there's friend." She motioned to me, earning a glare from Julian.
