Loved You First (Niall fanfic)

I walk into the living room, almost everything still in boxes. We just moved in a few weeks ago. The house felt rustic, but very cozy.

I look at my beautiful daughter sitting on our black leather couch, looking through an old photo album. The binding has became frail from being flipped through often.

My gorgeous wife wraps her hands around me, I give her a soft smile.

Our daughter tears her eyes away from the album to look up at us. She gives us a motion to come join her. We place ourselves next to her.

She is about to start her freshman year of high school. She always loved looking through the albums of my wife and me. She always begged me to tell stories about each picture when she was little. We never told her the real story, we knew she wouldn't understand, but today, I think she would.

"Dad?" She questions me. "Yes darling," I reply. "Tell me the story of how you and mom fell in love," she states. I look over at my wife. She smiles her beautiful smile and says, "it all started our first day of college..."
