I wake up at noon. I hadn't realized I was so tired. I drag myself out of bed tog get something to eat. I pad into the kitchen to find Cat making some grilled cheese.
Her hair was thrown up in a messy bun, she was wearing purple running shorts and a plain white t-shirt. How come she can look perfect when she wakes up an I look like crap!
"Well, it took you long enough!" she scolds. I give a little chuckle and state," If your brother hadn't kept texting me last night I might have gotten more sleep." She scoffs and finishes the grilled cheese. "Here take this one," she says.
I grab the plate with the sandwich on it and plop down in a seat at the table. I practically inhale the sandwich. She sits down with her sandwich. "So, what time is he picking you up?" He questions. "I'm not exactly sure, but I'm guess around 3," I state, picking at my cuticles.
"Do you like him?" She whispers.
"No we are just going as friends."
"You don't like him at all?"
"We flirted a little, but not really."
I get up from the table and walk into my room.
Do I like him? No we just hung out last night and we are going out as friends. Besides I don't need a boyfriend right now, I need to focus on my studies.
I get dressed in some jean shorts and a loose pink tank top. I apply a little makeup and straighten my hair.
I walk into the living room and find Niall sitting with his back to me, talking to Cat.
Cat grins and nudges Niall. Niall's head flies around and he smiles. "You look great," he says. "Thanks," I shyly smiley, blushing. "Ready?" He asks. "Yeah," I say as he grabs my hand.
I feel the heat growing in my stomach, and where his hand is touching me. The color escapes my face. What's happening? I've never felt this way around a guy. I don't even like him.
At least, I don't THINK I do.
