Chapter 4: A Good Change

"Tada! What do you think?" Aoi-San asked me, I was in complete awe. My hair was let down with two stands of hair making a bow, my boring face which was usually covered by my glasses is now fully shown (thanks to contacts) and glowing. I also wore a yellow dress similar to the uniforms but different when it came to the ribbon, which was a (F/C) ribbon instead of the usual pink one.

"Is this really me?" I asked in awe. Aoi-San nodded. 

"Thanks so much Aoi-San!" I exclaim giving her a tight hug. 

"Oh please, just call me Hanami." Aoi-San said.

"Then you must call me (Y/N) in return." I say smiling as I finish up the hug. 

"Well, well. I see your skills are still as sharp as ever." A voice says.

"Ah! Kaoru-Kun." Hanami says, I can see her cheeks gradually becoming redder and redder.

"How are you doing Hanami?" Koaru asked.

"I-I'm fine.." Hanami replied. Kaoru patted her head.

"That's good, honestly I was worried you wouldn't make any friends this year," Kaoru said glancing at me." But I'm glad you did."

I look at both of them, something seems to be going on... while I pondered what it was I was forcefully grabbed by someone.

"Shh. You're gonna ruin the mood!" A husk voice says. I look to see a boy similar to Kaoru.

"Are you by chance his brother?" I asked.

"Obviously, I'm Hikaru Hitachiin. Call me Hikaru though or you might get me mixed up with my twin over there." Hikaru says pointing his thumb at the two. 

"So what's going on?" I asked.

"My twin over there likes Hanami, and Hanami obviously likes him. I've been trying for years to get them to confess but nothing's working. That's why I pulled you away so I could leave them alone hoping it'd work." Hikaru said.

"You can't force something like that, it just naturally happens." I said, Hikaru looked confused for a second then he started laughing like crazy.

"H-hey!" 

"Sorry, sorry, it's just been so long since I've heard someone say something so heroic." Hikaru says, I swear I saw a tear fall from his eye.

"What are you two doing over here?" Hanami said looking at us puzzled.

"Nothing, now let us go." Hikaru said regaining his posture.

"Where?"

"To the meetup."
