"WHERE WERE YOU YESTERDAY!!!!" boomed the angry, wondering voice the Will Stone used.

Archie stood there frozen as Will took the hem of his shirt and raised Archie off the ground. It reminded him of his first encounter with Piff.

Will may not even look like Piff, with his buzz cut hair and somewhat clean clothes, but he sure acted like him.

Archie still had words jabbed into his throat and it only seemed as if they were moving backwards. "Uhhhhhh..." was the only thing coming from his mouth.

Apparently Will didn't believe his alibi because he only pulled tighter. "You just LEFT her in the dust! Who does that? Well apparently you, 'cause, huh, let me think about it, oh right, you LEFT her in the dust!" Will raged.

Archie couldn't take it anymore. He kicked Will hard in the knee, and plummeted down as he heard a familiar "Oooff". "You think I don't KNOW what I did? Do you think I'm not SORRY? And you never volunteered to go with her. So you think YOU could be better a being a friend?" defended Archie.

Will scowled at Archie and leaped towards him. A hard shove towards Archie lands him on the hard dirt of the school yard. "Yeah, I didn't volunteer to go with her, 'cause I knew Father Jones would never let me in," fired the boy.

Archie tried to get back up to fire another insult, but Will stepped on his stomach. A groan escaped from Archie's mouth.

"That's ENOUGH." At first, Archie didn't know who the voice was but then Hope pushed Will of Archie's chest and he was on his feet. Hope gave Archie a pitiful look and gently spoke the words,"Why did you leave me yesterday?"

Archie was about to tell them everything. When the magical figures claimed he had powers. To the magical dog tag that still hung from his neck. And finally the fact that he might leave to be apart of The Mights. But instead he let out a heavy sigh and said," I'm sorry."

Will looked like he was about to throw a punch, but all he spat out was,"Then I guess I can't come over your house today."

Before Archie could deny or promise anything, the boy said," Forget about it. And while you're at it, forget about our friendship." He turned and took Hope with him. All of Archie's happiness left with them.
