Chapter 20

It had been about 3 weeks since my last appointment and this time it was time to find out if I was having a girl or a boy! I was so excited , I wanted it to be a mystery but another part of me just wanted to know right away. I went to the appointment , got into the room . The doctor began the ultrasound. I always loved how I could see my little precious creation. The doctor looked over at me and said these exact words , "Are you ready to be a mommy to a healthy and bright baby boy." I was the most happiest mom I dreamed of being.Taylor looked so happy , he was glowing of happines. So I decided to have a little baby shower , mom helped me with all the organizing and decorations......1 WEEK AFTER.... It was the saturday , day of the baby shower and mom was absolotly excited to see the whole family back together , she even looked happier than me.

Me:"Mom!! I'm so excited to see everyone here!"

Mom:"I know! Me too! When's Taylor coming?"

Me:"In about 10 minutes,he's getting dressed."

Mom:"Alrighty then,lemme know when he's here,cause I love to see him all the time."

Me:"Mom!! You love Taylor lol!!"

Mom:"I really do! But i'm gonna go check if the foods here yet."

Me:"Alright"

After about 5 minutes my phone goes off....It was Taylor calling me.

Me:"Hello?"

Taylor:"Babe! Answer my snapchat! I wanna know if I look good it not lmaoo!"

Me:"Okay! I will! And your probably do look good lol!"

I go on snapchat and open Taylor's snap....He looked so SEXY!

Me:"Babeee! You look so SEXY!"

Taylor:"Thanks babe! Send me a snap so I can see how beautiful you look!"

-sends Taylor the snap-

Taylor:"My baby! Looking so beautiful! UGHH I love youuu!"

Me:"Awwww! Thank you baby! I love you too! But are you almost here?"

Taylor:"Yeah! Im up the street,almost there."

Me:"Okay, I'll be outside waiting for you."

Taylor:"Okay"

I waited for Taylor , about five minutes later i could see his speeding car come up the street. Taylor was a speeding driver, it was fun being in the car with him , but sometimes it just wasn't such a good idea , since this pregnancy , I get nauseous. Taylor came out of his car and ran up to me , gave me the most cutest , softest hug ever , he rubbed my stomach & talked , "Hello baby boy , this is your daddy speaking , I can't wait to finally meet you , your gonna be my little buddy , and your gonna help me protect mommy ,okay? " After Taylor said that I felt a little kick in the side of my stomach. "Babe , he's kicking , OMG!" We went inside to greet everyone that had come while I was waiting for Taylor . Everyone was so nice , some of them spoke to my stomach , and some just felt it. I pulled Taylor to the side in a corner , we needed to choose a name for the baby. 

Me:"Taylor , we have to choose a name for the baby."

Taylor:"Ohhh yeah , how about Jeremiah?"

Me:"Yeahh! I like that one."

Since we had figured out a name , it was time to get everyone to eat. After everyone were to be done eating , there would be some little baby shower games to play.  One of the games was to guess the since of my stomach with a ribbon and then measure my stomach , whoever got the right measurement would get a gift card to a store or fast food. The other game was guessing the baby food , the people who are playing would be blind folded , someone would feed them the baby food and they would have to guess the baby food they're eating.......Everyone finished eating so it was time for the games. First game , me and Taylor had to go around to every table and let the pick how long they wanted the ribbon to be to measure my stomach. There were about like about 12 tables , so it took us a while to get to everyone. We finally finished , it was time to go around again and measure my stomach with the ribbons that they measured , my aunt Rebecca was the first one to get the right answer after we go to a few tables.  After that we took a break and ate some sweets and we had a DJ at the shower so he played some music for us , since my whole family was Portuguese , the DJ played some Portuguese and American music. The shower was pretty fun..... We played the last game and it was time to have cake and open the gifts. Mom was the one who ordered the cake , she knew that I loved confetti cake , so she ended up ordering a confetti baby boy cake. Everyone seemed to enjoy the sweets and the cake , it was time to open the gifts. Aunt Rebecca got me the cutest outfits for Jeremiah. I got cute little outfits and the rest was like diapers and toys and baby furniture. Mom and dad had already given me and Taylor a gift , a baby crib........We finished opening presents , there was like 30 minutes left until the shower was over. Out of no where Taylor was in the middle of the dance floor , he told the DJ to cal me over to him , i went over , Taylor got onto his knees , and the words that I imagined him saying came out perfectly. "Ashley , I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you and Jeremiah , Will you marry me?" My eyes started gushing out with happy tears. "Yes , yes I will Taylor!" I was so happy........Mom and I started to clean some of the tables while the family danced. By the time the shower was over it was already clean , all there was left to do was put the tables and chairs away. Taylor , Taylor's dad and my dad started putting the tables and chairs , everyone was gone , it was time to put all the gifts in the cars and go home.
