The bus pulled up. I was waiting for Mark so I could sit with him on the bus. He ran up by my side.
"Hey Jordyn, I'm so sorry! Mrs. Reynolds was lecturing me about how the Ancient Egyptians....."
"OK!" I cut him off.
"Well someone's in a mood." Mark chuckled.
"Just come on." I smiled and rolled my eyes.
We got on the bus and sat in the front. There was no sight of Maddie. Not even her friends. The bus drove off.
"Wanna hang out after school?" Mark asks.
"Sure." I respond looking down at my phone.
There was an awkward silence between us for a minute or two. He snatched my phone out of my hand and wouldn't show me what he was doing. He handed me my phone back and I was so confused. I looked through it to see what he did when I ended up in the contacts.
Right there....under the "M" section, was a brand new contact name.

I looked up at him and he winked. I smiled.
3 hours later....(says in voice from spongebob. Jk😂)
I texted Mark and asked him what time he wants to hang out.

Me: Hey Mark, it's Jordyn...are we still gonna hang out today?
Mark😍😏: Yea. Meet me at Walleysburg Park. It's about a block away from your bus stop. I will be waiting😏😊
Me: K, see you in a few.😄

I quickly changed my clothes and put some makeup on. I grabbed my phone and penny board and headed out.
Mark's POV
I am so excited. I live right next to the park so I am already here.
I leaned up against a tree and silently checked Instagram. I followed a cute fanpage and turned off my phone. I slipped it in my pocket. As I looked up I saw my ex girlfriend.
"Oh shit" I said to myself.
She turned and spotted my.
"Uh oh" I said.
She quickly ran up to me and I put on a fake smile.
"MARK! It's so good to see you!" She screeched and jumped into my arms.
I didn't hug her back.
I looked over and saw what I didn't want to see at this awkward moment.
"Jordyn" I thought as I saw her slowly walking up to me.
