Don't do it

7:00 AM. Emory's alarm goes off. Lazily, she rolls out of bed and gets ready for work then runs out the door. On the walk there, she looks at her watch and sadly remembers that there is no way she will stumble upon her "soulmate" anymore. She wonders what happened to them. Emory continues walking and decides to get her favorite coffee to perhaps make her feel better.
"BREAKING NEWS" flashes on the inaudible television. Waiting in line, Emory reads the caption "MAN FOUND BURIED NEXT TO OLD MUSEUM".
"What the hell? What does that even mean?" Emory accidently says aloud.
"Right?" said the man behind the counter. " It's been all over the news and radio this morning. Apparently some old woman was taking a walk this morning and saw an unusal pile of dirt just sitting there. She decided to take a closer look and BAM! a body. Anyways what can I get you?"
"Uh... just a normal cup of black coffee please. Do you know if the person is still alive?" Emory couldn't help but think about the person's family.
"I think he's in the hospital or something. Here's your change," the man smiled. "Have a nice day!"
Emory got her coffee and decided to sit down and look this up on her phone. It's not everyday that this sort of thing happens. No results show up. Emory sighs and decides to just go to work. Heading for the door, she glances at the screen and sees that the story is no longer there, but some stupid story on a picture Kim Kardashian posted.

"Fuck Elijah don't do it! What the hell are you thinking?" Caelan screamed as Elijah started speeding, almost running over a cop who was crossing the street.
"It's fine! Calm down! It's just some fun, jeez" Elijah said.
"I am not going to pay for another one of your fucking tickets," Caelan sighed as she relaxed again into her seat. She looks out and sees a boy walking by himself in the rain.
"Elijah! There's a poor boy walking alone in the rain!"
"Well that's creepy as fuck."
"We should help him!" Caelan insits.
Elijah gives up and turns the car around and slows down near the boy whos walking alone in the rain.
"Hey buddy do you want a ride? Where ya headed?" Elijah asks.
"Um..." the boy looks shyly into the car. "Okay sure." He climbed in, "Can you take me home? I kind of got lost and I don't remember anything."
"Sure! Are you sure you're okay? Don't need to go to the hospital or anything do you?"
"Haha no thanks," the boy laughs. "Thank you though. My names Jim. What's yours?"
"I'm Eli and this is Elizabeth. Weird huh."
"Haha yeah I guess so."
Caelan laughed. That wasn't even funny but it was Elijah's lame attempt on making the boy feel better. After all, he was literally walking in the rain by himself.
     Everyone was kind of awkwardly quiet for a while as Elijah drove down the road, wondering when the boy was going to give him some sort of direction.
"Yeah can you just turn right here? It's the second house on the right."
"Yeah okay. You sure you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine. Just confused is all."
"Okay feel better! Bye Jim!"
"Bye Eli! Bye Elizabeth!"
Caelan waved goodbye. Although it was nice, it did give her a creepy vibe to pick up a random boy from the street on a rainy day. She pushes away the thought and realizes it's already over and no one died or anything. She looked back at the house they dropped Jim off at and noticed he was talking to a talk man. She hoped he was okay.
"Let's get icecream?" Elijah suggests.
"I kind of wanna just go home. Can you drop me off?" Caelan replies.
"Yeah okay."
Elijah drops off Caelan at their house and picks up his phone. "Icecream?" he texts a girl actually named Elizabeth.
"Sure!" Elijah smiles at the text and goes to pick her up.

Elijah and Elizabeth walk out of the icecream shop and decide to walk around since the rain stopped and there's fun puddles everywhere. They're having so much fun, they're running around like little kids on a playground. Elijah runs around a building and waits for Elizabeth to catch up.
No Elizabeth.
"What's taking you so long?" Elijah comes out from behind the wall, looking for Elizabeth. There's no one in sight.
"What the hell?" Elijah says. He starts to think she went back to the car and felt sick or something. He makes his way back to the car when suddenly something grabs him from behind. He looks up but all he sees is the museum sign and a shadowed figure towering over him.

A/N --- OK! so if that wasn't really clear, Elijah doesn't actually love Caelan as he messes up her name with his "sidehoe" Elizabeth. Caelan just laughs it off. Yeah poor Caelan. ok sorry bai stay tuned thx 4 reading
