Someday, you're going to see
The things that I see,
You're going to want
The air that I breathe.

The wind seemed to whistle, and everything around us was barren. The sun was almost setting, and the moon was already up in the sky.

We walked in silence, our arms brushing every so often. Every time I touched her skin, all my nerve impulses seemed to fire up. My skin didn't tingle- it felt like it was on fire, yet chilled to the bone at the same time.

And I wanted more of this feeling. Infinitely more.

Finally, a small house was starting to be visible. It looked old and shaken up, and as though a toddler built it.

"Do you come here often?" She asked, rubbing her palms together. It was starting to get cold.

"Yeah. When the diner is too noisy for me, or when I just want to be alone. I've never brought anybody here before."

"But you barely even know me. Why would you show me, of all people?" She asked. God, this captivating girl and her irksome, yet curiosity-filled questions.

I thought about her question for a second. But I couldn't. I couldn't figure out why. It'd just felt... Right. Like trusting her was what I was meant to do.

"I don't know, Angel. Like so many other things in my screwed-up life, I don't know."

"Screwed up or not, I want to know more about your life." She stated, not even a single hint of doubt in her lilt.

"Sweetheart, forget about knowing about my life. Something tells me, you're going to be most of it."
