MEGAN'S POV
"Hello! Hello, can you hear me?!"
I awoke immediately and started coughing. I opened my eyes to find I was lying on my back with a young man who had blonde hair and blue eyes was looking over me and was gently shaking my shoulders. I felt a wave go over me.
"Can you hear me?!" The man shouted again. "My name is Maxi can you tell me yours?"
I wanted to say Megan- after all that is my name but I just couldn't speak. Maxi grabbed my arms and pulled me up to him. I saw then I was far out to sea sitting on a blue rescue board with what I now worked out to be a lifeguard.
He turned me around as he sat straddled on the board for balance facing the beach. I sat with my legs either side of the board also. Suddenly I felt myself fall back into his arms. And then I saw black.
