I was stood in the school yard, it was home time and every one was leaving. I was on my own with Gem and everyone was scuttling around. Suddenly out of no where the boy appeared, in wolf form. I stared at him and refused to let him get Gem again. I forgot I was around people and transformed. His wolf disappeared, and I was a wolf on my own. People were videoing it and taking photos. I had broken the number one pack rule. My dad banished me into the woods, to never return. The world around me dissolved into another horrific dream. The school was gone, the woods were gone and I was in my room sitting on my bed. I was scrolling through my twitter feed and everything was about me transforming into a wolf, with things life '#freakshow' or freaky wolf girl, no wonder she has no friends. Ha-ha. This really upset me, I hated being made fun of. I threw my phone out the window and clambered into my track suite. I grabbed a back pack of food and camping stuff and wrote a note.

I'm sick of people, so I'm becoming a lone wolf. Don't bother sending anyone to track me, I'll disguise my sent. I love you all, but I'm done with society.

I left the house and bounded off into the woods and never came back, the pack searched and searched but never found me. I'd joined a pack of wild wolves that let me in like one of their own. I lived in peace. Then I met the wild pack at our borders. The boy I met a few weeks back was there, leading them. He sprung into the air towards me, teeth snapping. I awoke like last night in a puddle of sweat. I checked my alarm, it was five o'clock so I decided to get up, there was no way I was going to sleep now. I went downstairs and turned on the telly. I put it on low volume and watched some cooking programs. I didn't really watch them, I just kind of had them on in the background while I thought about the day. By six the shows had made me really hungry so I grabbed a cereal bar and chowed down while I watched the chef make zingy fruit muffins. I laughed at myself knowing I would never be able to do that. An hour or so later Gem came down and went straight to the kitchen to get her breakfast. I went upstairs and pulled on my baggy jeans and Rebel Club t-shirt. I then trudged down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"What's up, kid." I looked down at Gem who sat at the table with a frown stuck on her face.

"I'm just tired, and its school." She looked up at me with a grin.

"Ok, you sure?" I was really worried after everything that had happened.

"yeah, chill." She replied with a giggled.

I looked at her and smiled "I'm totally chill." I replied sliding into the kitchen chair.

We walked to school today and arrived just as the bell went. I headed to science and took my place. I ignored the look on Selena's face and started day dreaming. I started to think about the dreams I had last night, and how I could protect Gem. Not much came to mind except home schooling her and not letting her have a social life outside the pack, and that was cruel.

"Miss Alpha? Miss Alpha! Will you snap out of your little fantasy world and listen?" Ms. Daniels shouted

"Sorry Miss what was the question?"

"What other force, other than Gravity, is effecting the ball when it falls to the ground?"

"Up thrust." I answered absent mended.

"Thankyou." Ms. Daniels said, taken aback.

The rest of the day was basically the same as science. I just wasn't in the mood for people.

When I left at the end of the day, I made sure my wolf friend wasn't around. I reminded myself it was just a dream. I got home and Gem shot up to her room. I was too weary to notice and went up to bed. I lay in bed and put in my headphones to listen to some calming music. Later that night I heard Dad come in and start talking to Gem downstairs. My clock said it was six 'clock. I must of dosed off. I went down stairs and grabbed a bowl of cereal for tea. I sat down trying to be ignored, and it didn't work. Gem wasn't in the room, must have gone to bed.

"Hey kiddo!" Dad said and came to sit in front of me. "How was your day?"

"Fine." I replied simply, still eating at my cereal.

"What did you do?" He pushed.

"Day dreamed and wrote some stuff."

I took my bowl to the sink and then headed to my room. But Dad stopped me.

"What's wrong?" He questioned, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Nothing, it's been a long day." I sighed and walked round him.

I sprawled out on my bed and slowly left the conscious world behind me. I waited, dreading what was waiting. But nothing came, and I slept all night, without a sound.
