Chapter Four

Drew’s POV

The next morning I woke up to a few knocks at the door.

“Room Service!” I grabbed a pair of shorts and walked over to the door. I answered the door and there were 2 girls outside; they looked like sisters.

“Hi Drew” The red-head said. She was smiling so big and her sister was too. I looked down at their outfits and it stopped my thoughts. New York was nowhere near as hot as California so I didn’t understand why these girls were wearing shorts, crop tops and ugg boots. Did I mention it was 7 in the morning, which means it’s much cooler than it would be regularly?

“Hello.” I replied. I was still tired and I couldn’t believe 2 girls, 2 fans would show up at my door like this.

“Can we come in?” The blonde sister said.

“Girls, you’re probably really sweet, and I’d love to hang, but its 7 in the morning and I have things to do..” I gave the two girls hugs and went back into my room. I went back to the bed to look for my phone. I know it was early here, meaning it was much earlier on the west coast, but I needed to call my mom. I needed to know where I should take Ashlynn because I didn’t want to screw this one up. She didn’t pick up at first, but 10 minutes later she called back.

“Drew, honey is everything ok?”

“Yeah mom don’t worry, I just need some help.. I’m trying to take Ashlynn on a date, and I don’t know where I should go..” She laughed.

“Oh Drew, you’ll do just fine.. Don’t overdue it, you said it yourself, she’s different. Take her somewhere nice and then end the night with a walk in the park. Girls love that.”

“Thanks mom.. I’ll call you after the date.”

“Alright hun, love you.”

“I love you too mom.”

I hung up and decided to go downstairs to see if I could find a nice restaurant to take her to. I grabbed a sweater, put some clothes on and ran down to the lobby. I went over to the desk and rung the bell.

“Hey what’s up!”

“Um hello sir, anything I can help you with?”

“Yeah actually.. Are there any restaurants you can recommend me to? I have a date tonight.” I couldn’t help but smile. The guy on the other side of the desk was looking at me pretty weird but eventually he pulled out a book.

“Yes, I think this is what you’re looking for.” He showed me the book and I searched through the list. I picked out a restaurant that was pretty close to my hotel.

I took the number for the restaurant and called on my way to the mall. Lucky enough I was able to get a reservation for tonight at 7. What are the odds of that?

*** Many Hours Later (5:00pm) ***

I got back to the hotel at around 5, after looking for some things to get for tonight. I hopped in the shower and cleaned up a bit. I decided to let my hair rock out on its own because the fans tell me its sexy and I needed to look my best for tonight. By the time I got out of the bathroom it was 5:30. I threw on some jeans, a pair of sneakers, and a crewneck. I looked at myself in the mirror and I personally thought I looked hot. I grabbed the roses I picked up for Ashlynn earlier today, and the bag full of essential necessities.

I rented a limo for the night and I told the guy to drive over to the café. At this point it was 6:25, and there was no sign of Ashlynn. 20 minutes passed and still nothing. I figured she wasn’t coming and our reservation was at 7 so I just decided to tell the limo guy to take me over to the restaurant. Before we left though I ran inside the café to the bathroom. When I came out there she was. Standing outside. I ran up to her and tapped her on the back.
