Adam's pov: I guided my group of
friends through the woods swiftly.We
made our way on the winding road
with a small breeze rustling the leaves
of trees. Eventually, we arrived at our
house and I swung open the door,
guiding everyone downstairs. "Here's
the plan..." I addressed. "We'll be
broken into two groups.
Ty,Jason,Mitch,Fluffy,The mudkip,Ian,
seto and I. Then, Alesa,
Jess,Jin,Shelby,Ross and Barney in
another." "A-adam?" A small voice
asked. It was Ty. "Yeah? What is it?" I
questioned as my heart started to
pound as I anticipated his question.
"What if we can't do this? What if we
die?" He asked with tears in his eyes,
his words canceling the silence.
Just then, Jin chimed in, "Adam he's
right, we can't do this, we're only kids
and this is a real battle." I paused for a
moment to think, "Yeah Jin, you are
right we're only kids. But, look at
what we've been through, our parents
are gone, we've been kidnapped, we
had to survive alone at one point,and
there is
even more stuff that we don't know
yet. So, do you think we're ready
now?" I asked with a slight smirk.
"Yeah! If we have done this much, we
can do this!" He exclaimed. I looked at
my friends, they were smiling but,
deep down I knew they were afraid.
Just like me but, I gathered courage
and grabbed my sword and led
everyone upstairs. I turned the knob
of the door, and opened it, looking in
shock as it seemed hundreds of squid
army men were before us. I took a
deep breath in and made the first kill.
Then, everything after was a huge
blur. -noon- It was quiet, nothing
happened after all of the squid were
gone, it felt like time had stopped.
I looked around as I sat on the grass,
I thought to myself, wouldn't there
be a general commanding the
army? I heard a glass break, a bottle I
assumed. That's when I looked over
and saw that half of my friends were
missing.I stood up looking for clues or
anything to get a lead on where they
could have disappeared to. I asked the
remainder of my friends if they saw
something weird. As, I was ready to
give up, I saw something in the woods
out of the corner of my eye. I chased it
in suspicion and curiosity. I kept my
eyes locked on the blue figure. Until I
lost it as it went over a hill. I chased
after it still until I didn't pay attention
and fell off the edge. I rolled down the
steep hill getting cuts and scrapes.
I looked up at a shadowed figure
looking down at me. They had a
slightly twisted grin. I tried to get up
but was stopped by a foot on my
chest. I tried to produce words of any
kind but, nothing came out. I closed
my eyes in defeat, as I lie there
waiting
to be killed when a flash of light made
me block my eyes. I looked up and
saw a familiar figure which was...
(A/N: I'll leave it on a cliffhanger because i'm tired. Also this whole chapter was about 550 words.)
