I opened my eyes from my sleep, my brother Jeremy was sitting in front of me with our bags for school. I yawned. I heard him sigh, he didn't know it, but I knew more than he thought. Even if I am 'only five.' I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "Get dressed, Rako. It's your first day of school." I got the bag and put it on my bed. "Jeremy, I don't want you in here as I get dressed," I said. He smiled, then left. I got dressed into my uniform for the elementary school. I went into the bathroom, because Jeremy said he was going to do my hair for my big day. He came into my bathroom and combed my auburn hair. Then, he put a pretty dark blue Brett to clip back my bangs. I smiled. "Thanks Jeremy." I said. I saw him smile in the mirror, he never said much. I heard the limo honk, meaning we had to get to school. We got in and I watched the scenery change, and tried to remember the roads we took. When we got there, Jeremy walked me in. I met the teacher, Mrs.Gunner. she seemed really nice. "Alright, Rako." She said, "you'll sit next to Kaoru Hitachiin." She pointed to a desk next to a boy. I sat there. He had appeared to be sitting next to his brother. I noticed that they would switch the way their hair was parted every day. There were other things that they couldn't switch. For one, Kaoru had lighter eyes than his brother, Hikaru. He also had a slightly higher pitched voice and would be more nice, suddle, and calm. In the winter of the next year, my best friend Kyoko asked him to play with us, for I told her I was in love with kaoru. "Hey guys," she said, "please come build a snowman with us." This was the first time they asked this question. "Which one of us?" They said in unison. "Hikaru and Kaoru." She said. "Only if you can guess which one is Hikaru and which one was Kaoru." She stood there, as silent as our snowman. I remember that. Now, we were in middle school, 3rd year. She had also fallen for Kaoru and wrote her love to him in a note. I noticed a high-schooler walking around in frustration. "Hi." I said to him, "can I help you with something?" I asked. His violet eyes looked up at me. He wasn't bad looking. "Are you enrolling into Ouran Academy next year?" He asked. I nodded. "Well," he said, "I have this thing called a host club and I'm trying to get Hikaru and Kaoru in it. They said they would join if I told them which one is Hikaru." I sighed. This game again? I may love Kaoru, but I know one thing for sure, hosts flirt with girls, so its a free ticket to flirt with him, my next move might have been a bit selfish. "Well," I said, "if I tell you which one is Hikaru, then you can't reveal to them I can tell them apart. I also get access to your host club any time they are in there." He shook my hand. "Deal," he said, "which one is Hikaru?" I whispered to him. I decided to watch as they got a high school job as a host. The blonde went where Kyoko, Kaoru, and Hikaru could see him. "The one holding the letter is Hikaru!" Both twins looked astonished, for it was the right answer. Today was the last day of school. I went home, relieved. I realized something important. I loved pulling pranks.

It was my first day at Ouran Academy. My yellow dress suited me, or so I thought. Kyoko came in, her brown hair, replaced with black. "Omg! Kyoko! You died your hair!" She grinned. "Rako." She said, "the twins are in a host club at school. We have to get there. ASAP." She pulled me into her limo. "Do you like my hair?" She asked, "I got it done yesterday." I nodded with a devilish grin. "Oh no, Rako. I know that smile, what are you planning." I said nothing, but I just grinned and let her wonder. We walked into music room number 3. "Welcome!" 7 boys said, including the twins. Kyoko sat with the boy I helped last year, Tamaki. I sat with the twins. I mean, I had been in love with kaoru since the age of 5. I ended up going there everyday, and the twins actually opened up to me. I learned Haruhi was a girl, it was obvious to me. Kyoko ended up becoming popular, and left me as her distant friend. I was in the host club, awaiting for the twins. Then, I heard a conversation between Tamaki, and my new BFF, Haruhi. "Listen," he said, "kyoya said one of the twins would fall for her, and they'd end up dating." She sighed. "Rako isn't like that. She doesn't like pranksters, as friends, yes, as lovers, no." "Kyoya is always right. Let's make a bet, if they end up dating, I win. If they don't like each other like that, you win." "If I win," she said, "my debt is paid." "If I win," he said, "you have to stay in the host club." "Deal." She said. "Deal." I then felt a hand under my chin. "Rako," kaoru said, "how long have you been waiting?" Another hand went under. "We never like to keep girls waiting." Hikaru said. I felt my face get hot. "Not that long." I answered. They smiled. "Look! We made her blush!" I felt embarrassed, and looked down. They both looked at me, I could feel two sets of eyes burning on my head. "Sorry, Rako. We didn't know you loved us so much." I balled my fists. "I do not!" I said, and looked up. "Why would you think i love you?!?" I heard tamaki laugh. Haruhi then explained to him I said I didn't love them, and he gasped. They both smirked. Then I heard them talking about how to REALLY test me. "Hey twins," Tamaki said, "why don't you guys play the game?" I saw looks of pleasure appear on their faces. They took their hats out, switched places behind me a couple of times, then went in front of me. "Let's play the which one is Hikaru game!" They said. I pointed to Hikaru. "That's Hikaru." I said. Their faces faltered, then they grinned. "Nope! You guessed wrong!" I took off both their hats, revealing their hair. "Who's wrong now?" I said with a smirk. Nobody knew I could tell the twins apart, except Tamaki. "How did you do it?" The twins asked. I even noticed Kyoko, who was in Tamaki's section, looked surprised. "I always could." I told them. They ended up testing me every day. One day, they told me they would part both of their hair to the left. "Hey, Rako." Hikaru said. "Hey, Hikaru." I saw a smirk spread over his face. "That means something." He said. "If you sit with us, you pull pranks with us, and you can tell us apart. C'mon, tell me which one of us did you fall for?" I was shocked, but being the actress I was, I showed no reaction. "Neither. You guys are my friends, not my lovers." I saw his smirk turn from devious to playful. One of his arms wrapped around my body, as he placed his hand under my chin. "Rako," he said, "you're not even the slightest bit nervous?" Now I understood. He thought I had a crush on him! Well, let him think what he wants, now I get to play a game. "Well," I answered, "now that you put it like-like this, I guess I am." He let go. "Nervous now?" He asked. "Nope!" I answered. He left, beaming. Haruhi came in, looking astonished. I heard her draw a breath. "Rako," she said, "do you like him. Like that?" I smiled, silly Haruhi. "Of course not." I said. "Thank god. I know your going to kill me, but Tamaki and I made a bet on if your going to date one of the twins." She said this, nervously. "I know," I said, "I heard you guys make it." Her eyes widened. "Leave it to you to keep this from me," she said. Both twins came into the hall. "Hey," they said, "we were going to a water park. Do you guys wanna come?" I smiled and nodded, as Haruhi shrugged. Later that day, after the host club ended, I got into my limo. Another door opened, allowing Hikaru to get inside. My limo driver was in the building, socializing for the hour I allowed him to. "Why are you in here?" I asked him. "Because," he said, "I thought you'd enjoy having me in here." I remembered. He thought I had a crush on him. "Well," I said, "its fine if you wanna be in here, you just don't have to make such a big deal about it." I heard a seatbelt click, and my seatbelt went across me. I remembered to make myself sound nervous now. "W-wha-what was that for?" I asked. He scooted closer to me, now whispering into my ear. "Was that a stutter, Rako?" I squirmed to confuse him. "Uh," I said, "you must be hearing things." He backed away from me. "Mhm. I see right through your act." He said what now? "What act?" He sighed. "Rako," he said, "if you truly liked me, you would have blushed." He knew! "Hikaru," I said, "you can't tell him. Please please don't tell him." He was shocked. He had never seen me beg before. "Alright," he said. Then began to say the line. "I don't know if Kaoru likes you, but I like you, we are twins." I can't believe him. "So?" I asked. "Just because your twins doesn't mean anything!" He sighed, "alright." He said. Then he left. Once I got home, I got a call from Kaoru. "Hey," I said. "Hey," he said, "can you come to the water park with us on Saturday? You could just sleepover tomorrow." I thought about it. "Alright." I said. "OK," he said, "cool, bye." Then I heard something in the background. Hikaru. "Tell her you love her!" He yelled. The Kaoru hung up. What!?! Whatever, he's gonna end up finding out sooner or later. I packed a bag for their house. The next day at school. Kaoru ran up to me. "Hey, Rako." He said. "Hey!" I said. "Did you hear Hikaru last night, you know what he said right before I hung up?" "Yeah." He blushed a bit. "He was messing around, he does stuff like that all the time. Not just you, if you were wondering." I laughed. He was even cuter when he seemed nervous. "I wasnt, Kaoru. Thanks for telling me, though." He hugged me. I hugged him back. "I'm so excited for you to come over tonight." He said. "Wait, isn't Haruhi coming too?" "No, we just invited you." "Ah, OK." He let go. We went to our classes, and I was practically glowing. "Uh, Rako?" Haruhi said, "you seem happy. Extremely happy." I smiled. "I'm just happy. Not extremely happy." She gave me an unsure look. I decided to shake it off and for once, I actually payed attention In class.
