"I'm sure it'll be fine," Jessica giggled.

"What are we all talking about?" Sam pulled out the seat next to mine.

"How cute Mason and Andy would be together," Annie closed her book and started eating.

"Well I mean he's just like right over there," Sam pointed to the cafeteria entrance holding the note.

"God this is so childish," I groaned. "I feel like we're all in middle school again with the whole "Oh put this in the locker and you'll fall in love instantly!" That's not how this works!"

No one said anything, no one could think of anything because they all knew I was right. I stiffened when Mason walked past the table. He didn't look at any of us, he was walking towards Chelsea and her friends. I turned around to see what they were talking about, I couldn't hear anything but I could see the expressions on their faces.

He looked surprised and confused. Her face made it seem like she was trying to flirt but failing.

"Crap crap crap," I turned back around and hid in my jacket.

"You okay?" Sam asked. He turned to where I was looking and saw Mason turn around and walk towards our table.

"Hey," he pulled a chair out. "Can you guys help me? I want to figure out who left this note in my locker, it's more of a poem but it's beautiful."

"I mean I'm no good with that kind of thing," Annie stood up and left with Danny.

"Same," Sam stood up and left. Jessica stood up but didn't leave.

"You know, Andy is great with figuring out things!" And with that she skipped off leaving me alone with my crush and the note I gave him.

Great.
