I found stevo by his car but he was carrying some laptops?
"stevo! where did ya get those?!!"
"well how am I supposed to provide for us babes"
"YOU STOLE THEM! stevo this is my school you can't steal from it! I thought you were making a new start!"
"yeah babes but to make a new start we need cash babes!" he argues
"look stevo its over, finished!"
I march away not wanting to look at the thiefs face! then I remember the chess match! I run down the corridor into classroom 31 and see Kevin against a girl from another school in the final round of the game. I whisper to Mr clarkson "I'm not leaving" he smiles and I see Kevin look around and see me he has an apologetic face. I'm still angry at the bimbo remark but the anger has faded and as I stare at him I realise that I don't. think of him as just a friend my thoughts are yet again when Kevin is announced as winner and is applauded. the room clears up till its just me, Kevin, Imogen and conner. I hear Imogen whisper something to conner and they leave leaving me and Kevin alone.
"still up for that chess game?" I challenge
"sure" he replies with a smile
we play and I'm doing quite well when I make a move and Kevin shakes his head and says,"move you knight here" I do as he says and we carry on playing but he still beats me! we walk home and sit next to the river
"that was fun!" I say "
"yeah" he replies, his voice dreamy without thinking I lean in to kiss him but he looks away. I move back overwhelmed with embarrassment
"well I need to go see Kasey umm we should do thus again? yeah?" my voice shakes and I rush off feeling tears in my eyes.
"wait!" I hear Kevin say I stop and turn around
"I could um help you with your English assesment"
I cut him off,"are you gonna kiss me or what?"
he smiles and his lips touch mine in a sweet kiss but I've been wanting this for so long that want takes over reality and I part our lips till we are connected through this kiss I could feel his hands on my waist and I moved mine through his hair. he pulls back and smiles and I see stevo out of the corner of my eye, s if he could read my mind he says
"hat about stevo?"
"we broke up" I look down at my feet but we start walking home the opposite direction to stevo and I text him at my house
up for a rematch? xx :)
