"Emma?" Regina asked, looking around the room, worry evident in her voice. She began to search through all of the bathroom connected to her room, where there was still no sign of the blonde. Anger began to rise in her. "Genie!"
The blue face swirled into focus on the mirror, "Yes your majesty?"
"Call all of the knights and get me Skai." Regina growled.
"At once, your majesty." Then he disappeared.

"Find me the princess, I want all of the rooms in the castle searched, and then I want you to fan out all over the Kingdom to find her." Regina growled out as she paced back and forth I front of her Knights.
"Your majesty," the captain of her guard started, "if we all leave you, you will be left exposed and anyone could come in and-"
"I don't care!" She cut him off, "Find me the girl." And with that she disappeared back into her bedchambers in a purple cloud of smoke.

"You were looking for me, Regina?" An accented voice said as the purple smoke disappeared. She turned to see Skai, a tall brown skinned woman, dressed in black leather trousers, black knee high boots, the color matching her tunic. Her long brown hair tied up to show the beginning of her tattoos starting from her neck.
"Skai," the Queen breathed. "I need your help."
"I guessed that's why I was here." Skai pushed off of the wall she was resting on, "What can I do for her majesty?"
"Do you know of Princess Emma?"
"Of course, the two idiots' daughter, what about her?"
"I have come to acquire her and now she is gone, I need you to find her."
Skai looked at her curiously, then after a pause she spoke. "You love this girl, don't you?"
Regina sighed, "Yes, and I will do whatever I can to get her back."
"Then yes I will help you, I just need something of hers with her scent on it, meet at the edge of the Dark Forest at night fall with the garment, and I will start looking."
Regina looked relieved, "Thank you so much."
Skai smiled and disappeared in a cloud of dark red smoke.

The Dark Forest:
Regina followed the instructions that Skai had given her, and now she was waiting at the edge of the Dark Forest with one of Emma's dresses. She heard a branch snap behind her, and turned around with a fireball ready in her hand.
"Relax its just me Regina." She heard the familiar voice say, and Skai came into the clearing where Regina was. She eyed the dress that Regina had in her hand, "Are you ready to begin?"
Regina mutely nodded, causing Skai to take off her boots, her tunic, and leather pants, down to her undergarments. Right before Regina's eyes she shifted into a black wolf, larger than any human even on all fours. Regina moved closer and held the dress to her nose so that Skai could smell it and then she was off. Shortly after Skai disappeared into the night, Regina went back to the castle.

2 Summers Later:
With the searches coming up empty and there being no sign of Emma, Regina became even more dangerous. She was easily angered and always seemed to be agitated. The light and ease that Emma had brought back to her life, left with her the night she disappeared.
She was sitting on her throne, scowling at nothing when the royal guard came to deliver a letter, "Your Majesty, a letter from King James and Queen Snow." Immediately Regina got out of her throne and snatched the letter from the guard, dismissing him while tearing it open to see the contents of what was inside.
Dear Regina,
We know of your relationship with our daughter that has recently come to an end. We wanted to let you know that you will never see Emma again, if she is away from you then she is better off.
Queen Snow
The years of agony and pain and fury must have been enough, the letter she read was her breaking point. A scream so full of pain, and anger and emotion clawed its way out of Regina's throat as she sank to the floor. The screaming wouldn't stop, and the more she screamed, the louder it became and tears began to fall. "They had her the whole time" her voice, sounding raw and unfamiliar to her ears. "Mirror" she said.
"Yes your Majesty?" He asked, feeling sorrow for the broken Queen.
"Can you bring my father here please?"

Regina stood at the pit, where she had stood many years ago, at her first attempt to enact the curse. She was now ready to go through with her plan. She threw he father's heart into the fire along with the other contents of the curse. She would get her happy ending and enact her revenge. Snow would suffer and it would be Regina's doing, she promised her self and her now late father.
