11 years later:
Regina woke up at dawn, as usual, and got dressed before her servants could come in. She decided to go for a ride on her horse, Rocinante. She wore leather riding pants, brown knee-high boots and a red top. She grabbed a blue cloak so that when she was riding no one would try to attack her because this time she was going alone. She let her head guard know that she would be gone for a while and to not follow her.
Regina was out on her horse when she came to a stream. She decided to let Rocinante get a drink. So she got off of him and led him to the stream. She walked away over to a nearby tree. She was so caught up in looking at all the nature that she didn't hear twigs being snapped. Next thing she knew she was being pushed up against a tree by a drunk man. Really, this early and you are drunk already? Regina thought.
"What's a pretty lady like you doing out here? All alone." He slurred. Regina still had her hood on and the man couldn't see her face.
Regina tried to use magic but the man moved her hands above her head and held them tight. "Let go of me this instant." Regina demanded.
"Women like you should learn their place. You should know better than to speak to a man like that." He stated angrily.
"Do you know who I am?!" Regina yelled.
"Of course I do wench. You are a common whore." He said looking her up and down. "And I know just what to do with you." He put both of Regina's wrists into one of his hands. He used his now free hand to undo the tie on his trousers. Regina saw what he was doing. She panicked.
"HELP! HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!" She screamed.
"Shut up. No one will-" He was cut off by being thrown against a tree. Soon a white horse with a rider. It was a woman with long blonde curly hair, she was wearing a red dress with even a darker shade of red for her sleeves. She jumped doen off of her horse, not waiting for it to come to a full stop. She looked at the man on the ground. She raised her right hand and lifted him up into the air with magic.
"Apologize." She stated calmly.
He looked scared. He hesitated. Emma tilted her head to the side. "Apologize. Now" She said in a louder more demanding voice.
"I'm sorry." He said. The girl dropped her hand. Letting him fall a few feet from the air.
"Leave. Now." She said. The man didn't need to be told twice. He scrambled to his feet and ran off. The girl watched him leave. She then turned around to look at the woman she had just saved. "Are you alright?" She asked in a softer voice.
Regina still shocked only nodded. The after a minute or two she spoke. "Thank you." She said. Then she made eye contact with the blonde. She gasped. Those eyes. That hair. Those cheek bones. She resembled Snow which could only mean...
"You're welcome. I am Emma. Princess Emma of the White Kingdom. And you are..." Emma left the rest of the sentence for Regina to say her name.
"Leaving. I apologize I really must be going." Regina said as she moved from the tree. But because she was pushed so roughly against the tree, her hood on her cloak got caught on the bark of the tree and came off. When Emma saw her she gasped.
"You..." Emma said.
"I really have to go." Regina said leaving to go get her horse. She put her hood back on her head.
"Wait.." Emma said running after her. But she wasn't fast enough. Regina got on her horse and went into the direction of her castle leaving a confused Emma behind.
