The sketch (Part 1)
Being the younger sister to Bulma had its perks, but sometimes those perks were a complete nuisance especially when people would compare you to her. You see when you were growing up it was clear to your father that you never got the brilliant mind like he had...no that department was all for your sister, because instead you had a much more creative talent, like art. Yes, art was your passion, your inspiration that kept you from falling into envy over your sister's brilliant intelegence. By the age of six, you were a regular art prodigy making masterpieces that left people speechless and for your parents they couldn't be more proud of you. You had always worried about being able to met with your parents expectations considering your older sister was winning awards for her inventions at the age of seven, but your parents had assured you years ago that whatever talent you had was a blessing in their eyes and that they would love you no matter what career you choose when you got older.
Now your relationship with your sister was strong and even though you two were polar opposites in talent that didn't diter either one of you from forming a strong bond between the two of you. Now going into context with relationships and what not...you were shock to say the least a few months back when you had come home from an art expo in France to not only find out that you were now an aunt, but that your sister was now dating your old ex-boyfriend yamcha.
You were somewhat angered by the fact that your sister had so bluntly kept quiet about her baby and that fact that she was dating your ex...again. But after about few days you eventually grew accustomed to it and you instantly feel in love with your sweet nephew trunks. He was your happy little ray of sunshine whenever you saw him in the morning and his silly antics always made you laugh in amusement. Though his father was another story. You couldn't stand the man period. He was egotistical and down right stubborn when he wanted to be. Your first impression of him could be summed up in one word asshole. That's all he ever was to you, trunks, and even Bulma. His name was vegeta, the prince of some alien race or whatever it was...you couldn't really remember but really you didn't care, he was the father to your nephew. Though their were many occurrences were he would down right tick you off other times he would just give quick glances at you from afar before returning to his training. You could honestly say that even though he was a jerk he sure had a lot of dedication and drive when it came to him training, but that's about the only nice thing you could say about him period.
You were in your room still thinking over the many times you wish vegeta would stop being such a prick that you had neglected to even finish working on your latest piece. It was an oil painting of Bulma holding trunks gently in her lap while leaning against the bark of a shaded oak tree just outside the compound of your house both had goofy smiles on their faces.
A knock on your door snapped you out of your thoughts. "Who is it?" You said putting your brush in a jar of water on a small table by your easel. "(y/n) it's Bulma."said your sister. "Be their in a sec b."you said using her old nickname that you made for her. You quickly untied your apron from around you and hanged it on one of the hooks in the room before going to the door and opening to see your sister. "What's up b?" You asked." Could you do me a small favor (y/n)?"she asked putting her hands together and giving you a begging look."uhhh...sure what do yay need?"you regrettably ask thinking this wasn't just any old favor." Yamcha and I are going out to night and I was hopping you could watch trunks for me?"she asked. You blinked a bit before snapping out of your stupor." Yay..sure I don't mind." You said shyly. "Thanks a tone (y/n)! And don't worry about vegeta! He usually hangs around in the gravity chamber for most of the night so you'll barely even see him."she said cheerfully. You gave a somewhat sigh of relief in the fact that you wouldn't be seeing the prince of assholes at all tonight.
