Wow my chapter titles are so imaginative, I wish I knew how to make people read this, just a few Maybe? Although it's a bit shit I am really trying hard with it. Again play the video, embrace the music. I can never think of what song to put so I just type in a band or person I like and randomly choose one of their songs I guess? Pfft ah well 👐🌹

The taxi driver was constantly peering through the mirror at Bella. And then smiling and looking at me, then the road then at Bella again.
"Oh that ones a lovely colour, I used to have a cat similar you know? Many many years ago but I'll never forget him" he began smiling. The man loved his job, chatting away to all sorts of people. It was probably nice and easy for him?
"Ah ok what was his name?"
"It's a ridiculous name, but it was nuts"
"What the cats name was nuts or the cats name was nuts as in crazy?"
"No, nooo his NAME was nuts"
He then chuckled out loud as if a memory had struck him.
"My wife named him, he was hyper ya see? Always racing around the house like he'd drank 7 bottles of cola"
"That's crazy.."
"Nuts" we chorused.
That's when it hit me.
"Well, I have noticed how much u love cats and well we have been looking for new homes for a while as my sister has an allergy you see?" This was all a lie. I loved Bella and would do anything to keep her but she was better off without me, and sadly I needed the money more. Oh and I don't have a sister, I was an only child.
"Well, I don't know, are you sure about this I mean he's lovely"
"I would do anything to keep him I really would but it's not my choice. I trust that you will take good care of her" I exaggerated maybe a bit.
"Why not, I need some kind of company after sandy left me" the man said quietly.
"I'm sorry" I comforted.
"How much anyway?"
"Well as much as I would like to say you can have him for nothing I am really running low on money..."
"Oh how much?"
"£180"
The man went silent for a minute and I immediately felt the guilt slip in. I wanted to say it was just a joke but I wasn't lying, I really needed money. I felt reluctant to ask if he had changed his mind as the silence was awkward as if he was about to shout and I didn't want to press his button anymore.
"Alright" he mumbled.
But his smile was long gone and so was his good mood. We were about 10 minutes away anyway so this recently uncomfortable car journey will finally come to a halt.
