The Teenage Girl

Chapter 9

(2 hours later)

I woke up to the sound of josh telling me that its time to wake up, So I wake up and look at the time on my phone and the time says 9:30am. I can't believe I slept for that long I thought that I would just sleep for a few hours but I slept for the whole night. I got up and looked at josh and said "We need to go to the mall and look at some cribs" then he said "Ok but we don't even know the gender but its whatever I guess" so then I get dressed and put on my shoes then i grab my car keys and walk out the door and josh walks out with me and says "Wait up nicole we got time" then I say "No its fine I'll just go by myself since your getting upset that I wanna go now even if we don't know the gender yet" then I walk to my jeep and get in the driver side and turn on my jeep and drove off to the baby store.

(45 mins later)

I am at the baby store and I found this super adorable crib with a bed set and I am in love with it right now but the problem is that its for a girl and I don't know the gender yet. I walked out of the store and go to my jeep and get in the drivers side and I called josh and said "Hey babe what are you doing?" then he said "Oh nothin just sittin at the house bored what are you doing" then I said "Well i'm about to leave the baby store and go back home so i'll see you when i get there love you" then I hung up and started the car and drove back home.

(2 weeks later)

Josh and I are on our way to a doctors appointment to see an ultrasound of our baby and we are so excited. We get there and I get out of the car and then josh gets out of the car and we walk into the doctors office and we go into the room and I lay down on the seat in the room and the doctor comes in and says "Hello Ms.Nicole are you ready to see your baby?" then i say "Yes i'm so excited" then he lifts up my shirt and puts the gel on my stomach and the doctor says "Wow Ms.Nicole you are 20 weeks pregnant and would you like to know the gender" then I say "I would love to know" then the doctor says "Well your having a lovely boy!!!!" then I look at josh and smile at him and he smiles back at me.

We were so happy that its a boy and now we just need to pick out a boy name. After that the doctor told us that we could go and then she walked out of the room. I stood up and walked over to josh and said "Hey babe I was actually thinking of naming our baby boy August Ray. What do you think about that name?" then he said "I love that name and I'm so happy that its a boy and I love that i'm with you and that were having a baby together.So are son's name is August Ray Smith?" then I say "Yep that's his name" then josh smiles and kisses me and I kiss him back.

(1 hour later)

We were finally back at the house and it was great being back at the house. I sat on the couch in the living room and once I sat down August started kicking and moving around in my stomach and it was amazing to feel my baby boy move for the first time. I told josh that he was kicking for the first time and josh walked over and put his hand on my stomach and me and him were feeling our baby boy kick and it was the best feeling ever.

After August stopped kicking Josh and I looked at each other and kissed then I got up and said "I'm gonna go to the baby store do you wanna come with?" Then Josh said "of course I wanna come with babe" then Josh got up and grabbed the car keys and said "let's go come on" then I nodded my head and walked to the car and Josh shut the house door and opened the car door for me then I got I the car and shut the door. Josh then got in the car to and we drove to the baby store.

(45 mins later)
We finally arrived at the baby store and I was super excited to get baby stuff for August and Josh was excited to. Josh and I walked into the store and a woman walked up to us and said "Do you guys need any help today?" Then I smiled and said "Yes, we are looking for the baby boy stuff" then she smiled back and showed us the boy stuff. I fell in love with this dark blue car seat and stroller set. I looked at Josh and said "Do you like that dark blue car seat and stroller set" then he said "yea I like it. Do you wanna get it?" Then I said "yes let's get it" so then Josh grabbed the set and we bought it then we bought some cute outfits.
