Silence (Part 11)

At this point I knew this was definitely the end for me. Just the thought of knowing that I'm going to die is traumatizing. "This is what's going to happen to you. But consider yourself lucky, you get to live longer than she did," the man told me in a quiet, horrifying voice.

I didn't know what to say. I just kind of stared at him with my eyes open wide and I had a scared and also evil look on my face. I started thinking to myself, crying "there's no way out. I'm untied, but how can I run away?? He's standing 5 feet away from me. How could I ever run fast enough??"

I figured running was actually worth a shot. So I gave it a go. He turned his head to face the wall, but he was still talking to me. What the hell is he saying?? I'm way too focused on getting out of here to even listen. I ran quietly behind him and all I could here him say was "you don't want that do you??" And then he turned around and saw me run up the stairs.

He chased after me. He ran quite fast. He must really want to kill me. Then I managed to unlock the door and run to the gas station next door. I went to the front counter where the cashier was. "This man. He kidnapped me. He lives next door. He's trying to kill me and he's chasing after me," then I got quieter "he knows where I am. Right. Now." The cashier looked at me and then the kidnapper came running in and tried to take me away.

The cashier shot him. Not with a bullet, but with one of those arrow things that make you unconscious. I don't know what they're called. The cashier called the police, "hi, yes I have this girl," he looked at me "what's your name sweetie??" I replied shaking, he could wake up at any given moment "Holly Haynes!!" Then he got back on the phone "her name is Holly Haynes. Yes. Thank you. Please come quick!!"

Once he hung up the phone he walked over to my kidnapper. He opened his mouth and looked as if he'd seen a ghost. "This man is the world's most wanted criminal. He's killed many girls your age. But the police were never able to find him." I looked at him and started crying "I-I saw him kill another girl."
