*alarm clock goes off*
I questioned myself. "Wait I don't have an alarm clock.
I get up, and walk over to my sister's room with the alarm clock in my hand and threw it at her when she was out in her deep sleep.
As I walk back into my room, and plopped on my bed, I got this miss call.
"Hello, who's this?" I asked.
No one answered.
"Look if this is a prank call I'm gonna-" As I was talking my doorbell rang. I ended the call. I walked downstairs, thinking in my head that someone is gonna murder me if I opened the door. I got into my self-defense stance and opened the door.
I didn't see anyone.
"BOO!" Someone screamed out, and I uppercutted him right in the nose.
He fell down in pain. I didn't see who he was.
"Daniel, is that you?" I said while crouching down.
"Surprise." He said while holding his nose.
I pulled him up, and brought him into the kitchen.
"Oh my god Daniel, I'm so sorry! I didn't know it was you!" I said while scrambling looking for ice.
"It was my fault, I shouldn't have scared you like that." He said while scrunching his nose.
"Well that's what happens when you scare me." I laughed while throwing a bag of ice to him.
"My bad, I didn't know I would be hit by a boxer when I open the front door." He said while laughing.
I flipped my hair. "Don't mess with me!" We both laughed.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
He looked straight at me in the eyes.
"I came to see you." He said. We both went silent.
"Angie, there's been something that I've been meaning to say." He said.
The doorbell rings.
I ran to the door, and opened it.
"Cameron?!" I said in shock.
"Ang, can we have a quick talk?" He said.
"Um, I don't think this is the time right now." I said.
"Who's at the door?" Daniel asked.
"Nobody! I have to outside for something." I said nervously.
"Ok." Daniel said.
I closed the door behind me.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Who's inside?" He asked.
"Nobody, just a friend from my old hometown." I said.
"Oh,ok." He said.
"So what did you want to talk about?" I said.
"Well, I have a basketball game later and I wanted to ask you if you can come." He said.
"Sure! What time?" I asked.
"6:30" He said.
"6:30 it is!" I said.
"See ya later." He said.
"Bye!" I said.
He walked away. I open the door and Daniel was standing right beside it looking out the window.
"Who's was that guy you were talking to?" He said curiously.
"Just a friend." I said.
"Wow, a very flirtatious friend." He said sarcastically.
"Oh shut up Daniel!" I said snapping at him.
"Shut up about what Angie?! I've loved you my whole life, and this is what your gonna do to me?" He said holding back tears.
"Daniel, you knew that we will never work! Let go!" I said shedding tears.
"It's not that easy!" He said.
We stared at each other.
He looked at me.
"Do you love him?" He said.
"That's none of business!" I said.
"If you don't, don't go to his game." He said.
"Your not in control of me!" I said.
He grabbed his bag and walked out the door.

And that is how you lose your best friend.
