Chapter 4

The next morning, I slid out of my bed and was already in the shower. I was so tired and didn't feel like attending any of my classes today. My hand twisted off the faucet, hearing a slight squeak. I stepped out, onto the rug, pulling a pink towel around my waist. Today was going be another one of my lazy days, so I decided to wear a grey sweat shirt, some jeans, and my uggs. They were my favorite shoes to wear when it's cold outside.

After I was dressed, I did my mascara and dots of foundation over my blemishes and pulled my hair into a ponytail, leaving my dorm. The cold air whipped across my face as I got into my small black car, slowly backing out. Skipping a day of classes wouldn't hurt, pretending to me sick for a day wouldn't hurt either. I didn't feel like attending today.

My hand switched the nob of the volume and Ed Sheeran's voice fled the speakers and I lightly hummed along to The A Team. His voice was so soothing and it made all happy, thats why his music is my all time favorite.

My car jolted to a stop in the parking lot of a small diner that had one other car in the lot, which probably meant I was the only costumer here. I quickly went inside and sat down at the stool that was infront of the cashier. She looked up from whatever she was doing and smiled politely.

"How can I help you?" The lady asked in a western accent. I chuckled a bit at how she talked and then smiled at her.

"Coffee to go, please?" I ordered. She nodded and smiled before disappearing in the small kitchen before me. It didn't take long until she returned again with a white styrofoam cup in her hand.

"Thanks." I said, handing her the money, walking out the door of the small diner. My hands cradled around the warm cup as I sat in the car, immediately starting the car to get warm. I headed back to my dorm to just relax and drink my coffee.

The tv was playing some stupid old movie, but I didn't mind, at least it was something to watch since I'm sitting here alone until classes end so the professors on campus don't think I'm sluffing classes.

A couple hours pass by and the next thing I knew, Trish comes bursting through the door with Niall and Harry following behind her. Niall waves and smiles and I wave back. Harry just shoots me a small smile and I do the same back. I'm glad Harry is finally starting to lighten up to me, maybe he's starting to think of me as a friend.

"Where were you?" Niall asked, sitting in a chair next to my bed.

"I was...sick." I lied, tossing my coffee cup into the small trash can.

"Yeah right." He smirks, rolling his eyes. "Your faking, I've done that before."

"Yeah, I'm faking." I huff. Niall chuckles slightly and looks at the television.

"What the fuck show is this?" He asks, raising his brows. I laugh at his choice of words.

"An old show, it's pretty entertaining actually." I reply, placing loose hair behind my ear.

"How long have you been watching this?"

"About four hours tops." I reply and his mouth hangs open.

"Damn, I would've gone crazy looking at a black and white show for four hours!"

"I guess it doesn't bother me." I reply simply. He laughed and walked into the bathroom that was a few feet away from my bed and I decided to get up and get dressed since Trish invited them in my dorm.

I decided to throw in my tank top that had The Beetles on it and some black shorts. The bathroom door was soon opened with Niall walking out and over to the others. Closing the door, I quickly change and join them back in the front of the room.
