Chapter 6

When I woke up the next day, I remembered it was Harry and I's first date at a ski slope, so I swiftly walked to my open closet and pushed through the racks of shirts. A see-through pink shirt caught my eye, so I snatched it, throwing it over my head. I added some hollister jeans and my tan uggs. My hair was a complete tangled mess, so I brushed through my tangles and ran a straightener through it, walking across the small road the other dorm building. It was incredibly cold outside and snow was slightly falling.

The warm air of the building hit my body as I walked up the big stair case, meeting the hallway of dorm rooms. My mind went deep into thought, trying to remember the number of his dorm. I finally remembered and knocked on the door that read 34B. It didn't take long for the door to swing open. Harry smiled, leaning against the door frame.

"You know, I was going to walk to you." He said, chuckling a bit.

"Well...I thought I could come and get you." I replied, looking down at my shoes.

"You can come in, I just have to change out of my sleepwear." He informed before disappearing down a small hall.

My eyes wandered around his room, seeing many posters of many music artists, including Imagine Dragons and the beetles. He must be into music, seeing that he has a red electric guitar and a black acoustic. Now this is something he never told me.

"Ready to go?" He asked, throwing a black jacket onto his body. I nodded and stood to my feet.

"I never knew you were into music." I said, causing him to look at me and shoot a faint smile.

"Uh...yeah, but I don't play as much anymore." He says.

"Why not?" I ask, looking straight at him.

"I haven't really since my mom passed." He said, sniffing a bit. I never knew his mom died, maybe he was planning to tell me later.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." I apologize.

"Can we just go?" He asks. "I'd rather not discuss this right now." He grabs my arm and we both walk out to the cold outside, heading to his black car. He opens the door for me and I thank him. The car pulls out of the small parking lot and heads out of the campus grounds.

"So, how you liking this school?" He asks, not taking his eyes off the road.

"It's pretty great I guess." I reply, watching the passing trees.

"What are you studying?"

"Cosmetology."

"I'm studying music." He says and I smile.

"Really?" I ask. "You should sing for me some time?"

"We'll see about that." He smiles.

"Yay!" I cheer.

"Hey, I said we'll see." He informs as we start heading up a small hill that must have a ski place up top. I was really excited to finally get there, this was going to he the most fun date ever. I can tell.

"Where is this ski slop exactly?" I ask, not looking away from the window.

"It's in the mountains a little ways, not too far." He says, not looking away from the snowy roads.

We continue driving and it becomes completely silent as we both stare at the outside. My eyes watched the edge of the tall hills that kept getting higher as we drove. It was getting a little scary to me, but I kept calm so I wouldn't make Harry nervous. One thing you should never do is make a driver nervous when driving on a skinny sized road with a steep edge on one side of it.

A sign came into our notice that read the words 'Wonderland Ski Resort.' I smiled to myself and Harry parked his car into a large parking lot with many other cars as well. I just hope that it's not to busy, we won't be able to have some alone time.

"Two ski shoes." Harry said, handing her what looked to be a credit card. She smiled and scanned the card, handing it back to him. "Here you are." She gave us what we needed and we headed to the ski lift and put our shoes on, hopping into it.

"This is going to be fun." He says, smiling." I nod and smile back at him.

"Yeah, I think it will be." I say, looking down at how high we are up and let out a small whimper noise.

"What?" He asked with a concerned face.

"I-I'm kinda afraid of heights." I replied, still staring at the snowy grouds.

"It's okay, I got you." He wraps his strong arms around me and cuddles me into his chest as we get higher. Butterflies flutter in my stomach and my heart beat relaxes. Being in his arms relaxed me from wanting to freak out.

The ski lift lowered and stopped. The man at the end helped us out quickly, sending it back to the other side. This hill wasn't very steep, so this one probably won't be a challenge for Harry.

"Alright, you ready?" I asked, causing Harry to look at me, revealing a weak smile.

"Are you sure about this?" He asked, looking down the hill.

"I'm sure, you will be fine." I say, kissing him on the cheek.

He gulps a few times, pushing himself to the edge of the smallish hill, stabbing his stick thing into the ground. I meet up with him and we both count to three and pushed ourselves down. The way down was very fast and it took the breath out of me. We finally reached the bottom and Harry fell right on his butt. My hand swung over my mouth so I wouldn't laugh.

"Shit!" Harry spat as he struggled to get up. It was so impossible for me to not laugh at how funny this is.

"Please help me up." He says, trying to at least stand up.

I held out my hand and he took it, standing back up. He started to walk back to the tables and stuff were set out, so I followed him. We decided to get something to eat, so we sat down at the small table and a young looking waiter assisted us quickly.

"How many I help you guys?" She asked, checking Harry out. I looked at her and gave her a face to warn her that I don't like what she's doing.

"Yeah, I'll have a spaghetti." Harry answers, handing her back the menu.

"Me too." I sternly say, giving mine to her as well. Harry shoots me a confused look.

"Alright, I'll be right back with those." She says, walking inside the small shack.

"Whats wrong?" He asked.

"That waiter was checking you out, in front of me." I informed, looking down at my snow covered boots. He chuckled a bit and put his hand on my thigh.

"Who cares, It's not like I checked her out back." He says, smirking.

"I care Harry, and would you even do that?"

"Maybe." He said, smiling even bigger. I lightly slapped his arm and he laughed.

"Harry!"

"I'm joking." He scoffs.

"Well don't do that." I folded my arms and looked the other direction. My whole life, teasing was never my favorite. Especially from a guy.

"I'm sorry." He says. "I just don't see the big deal."

"I guess it's not, but I can't believe you didn't notice that." I say.

"Maybe she was staring at me, but I don't think she was checking me out."

"Whatever."

The young waitress returns to our table and sets the plates down in front of us. Harry thanks her and she walks away into the shack, empty handed. I was glad she didn't check him out again, or that bitch would of got something today. And I wouldn't wanna ruin our smoothly going date on a stupid girl like her. Look at me, we're not officially a couple and I'm already getting jealous.

"So..." Harry said, breaking the silence. I faced his direction again and cleared my throat.

"Thanks for taking me here...Harry." I thank him, smiling.

"Thanks for actually going on a date with me after being such a dick to you." He says and I laugh.

"Well, it's always better to forget than hold a grudge." I said. "Besides, you seemed like a nicer guy if someone really gave you a chance." I add.

"Thanks, no one has ever told me that." He adds, with a big smile creeping on his face.

"You're welcome, I just thought you deserved to hear it."

"Tori..." He trails off. I look up and our eyes meet, not breaking the gaze as he clears his throat. "Will you be my...girlfriend?" He asks, quickly looking away.

"Yes...I'd love to." I reply, swinging my arms around him in a hug. The waiter comes by and collects our checks and we leave to go back to the campus. I had a really nice time with Harry and I'm really glad to be his girlfriend.
