"Alright Phil, flip that pancake!" I said encouragingly to my best friend. "3....2....1!" Phil yelled, just before he flipped the pancake, making no mistakes, landing right back in the pan.

"Damn it Phil, that's 5 dollars to you!"

"You know what?" he replied, looking at me with his beautiful blue eyes, resulting in me falling into them. It was like a trance, and it always resulted with me staring at him with big, dreamy eyes, also know as 'Heart-Eyed Howell' by the phandom. "We basically share all our money so it's not a big deal, don't give me 5 dollars."

"Ok, more money in my pocket!" I replied with a smirk, his words snapping me out of my trance. Damn it, he was so perfect. I just wanted him to be mine. I love him so much. As more than just my best friend. I fell in love with him the minute I saw him at that train station, his blue eyes brighter than I could ever tell over Skype, his body, slim and tall, his hair, the way it fell perfectly, and his smile. Oh my gosh, his smile. I could stare at it forever. Everything about him, perfect.

"Phil, I love you." Oh shit.... Did that actually just come out of my mouth? Shit. What do I do now? Oh shit Dan... You just fucked everything up. Damn it! Think fast...

"Wait what? What do you mean?" the older boy replied, obviously confused.

"I... I... I mean like as my best friend! You know?! Just as a friend... Because of course that is all we will ever be! Haha... Yep." Oh shit was that convincing? I sure hope so.

"Oh alright, in that case I love you too" Phil smiled that big goofy smile of his and laughed it off, like nothing had happened. Because nothing had, and ever will happen. Also, is it a bad thing every time he talks I can't help but stare?
