Chase's friends.....

Hey Chase! - Lex told her brother excited and then she hug him. He really is handsome. He has blue eyes and he is also blonde. I hope he is like Lex because together they will be an awesome circus. I mean Lex is very funny so I think Chase will be.
- Are this your friends? - Chase said smiling towards me. I felt my face blushed so I turned around.
- Yeah we are roommates. - Grace said smiling.
- Well you have hot roommates Lex. - Chase told her looking at us. Okay if he is trying to flirt with us it won't work.
- So you will tell us your names? - One of the guys asked us. He is pretty hot he has black hair and blue eyes. Okay I have to tell the guys are really hot.
- I am Grace Adams. - She said with a big smile. She is always smiling. She never gets tired of smiling all day long? I mean I am a happy girl but sometimes I am just serious and quiet.
- Leah Johnson. - I said with no expression in my face. Back in London my friends used to tell me that I was a pretty weird and unique girl. They said that they wanted to be like me because I didn't care about what people thought about me. Yeah I really don't care at all.
- I am Chase and he is Aaron. - Chase said pointing at the blue eyes and black hair guy. - Alec. - He said looking to the green eyes and brown hair. Why are they so handsome? - And Dylan. - He said looking to the brown hair and brown eyes guy. He also hamdsome. Everyone was!
- Well nice to meet you guys. - Grace told them.
- Have you been to the library? - Aaron asked us curiously.
- No but they say it is pretty big. - I told them excited.  I love to read since I was little. When I read I feel like the hole world stops. Reading is one of my favorites hobbies.
- You like to read? - Aaron asked me smiling curious.
- Yeah. - I said smiling.
- Well then let's go. - Aaron told me smiling. I think we will be good friends because we both read. At least I have something in common with one of them.
- Let me go for some blueberry muffins. - Lex said making funny faces. She loves to eat and she is very skinny.
- I'll go with you. - I said and we went for the muffins. Lex payed the muffins and when we arrived with the boys she had already finished her muffin. I don't how but she eats pretty fast.
- How can you eat so fast? - I asked laughing.
- Well you know that people can be good at math or literarute. I think I born to eat cause I am good at it. - She said that like if she really meant it. We both laughed.
We went with the boys to the library. It was enormous I haven't been to a huge library like this one. There were many different kind of books. I like every type of book like ficfion, action, novels but I will never a read a romance book. They are just stupid I mean they just write fairy tales that won't happen in real life. I found an interesting book " The story never told ". It was about a girl who lost her family in the titanic at she went out of her country. She went to Australia and she began a new life. I really liked it so I buy it.
- So you like reading huh? - Chase told me smiling. He is actually beside me I could feel his breathing. This is just annoying.
- Are you following me? - I asked him really annoyed. I mean he is been watching me since we met at the cafeteria.
- Well maybe. - He said with a weird smile. I thought he will be funny but he is just annoying. I have to be used to it I mean he is the brother of my roommate.
- Well I think you made a mistake. Being with me in a library means nothing but reading. So why don't you go and get a book? - I said with a fake smile.
- I don't like to read. It's just boring I mean every book ends with a fairy tale ending. - He said with a desperate face.
- That's cause you haven't find a good book. - I said rolling my eyes. This is not the first time I help someone to find a good book.
- Well then, can you help me? - He said making cute little boy faces. He looked like a little boy who wants candies. Well I'll help him I mean it's easy I will find a good book for him and that's it.
- Okay I'll get you a book and that's it. You will have your book and a happy ending fur us. - I said faking a smile. But he was really happy about this.
- Perfect let's do it.- He said excited. We sat on a table to talk about what maybe he would like. This will be really funny I mean this bog didn't even read!
- Okay tell me how you will like your book. - I told him curiously. He thought for some minutes making weird faces. I guess he didn't even know what's a book.
- I guess I would like fiction. Like the comics I used to read when I was ten. - He said smiling. I couldn't keep it so I laughed.
- Really? - I said laughing very hard. He gave me a funny look and then laughed.
- I like when you laugh. - He said smiling. I blush I little but thanks God he didn't notice. I am a rude girl that won't fall in love with some stupid guy.
- Okay I won't give you comics you are not ten anymore. Let's see what we can find. - I said and I went for a book. I had no idea of what I was looking for. But then I found a book that I think he would actually read. So I took it and I showed him the book.
- " Run, Survive, Fall but in love " Really Leah? I mean you are a rude girl but can you just be a little romantic. - He said laughing.
- No I don't think so. - I said and then I look for something else. I found " The story of two strangers ". My mother used to read me that book. It was about some neighbors that didn't know each other. The way they get to meet is really funny. They were neighbors but they meet in a summer camp. That's just weird I mean at least I know that back home I have neighbors and I know them. But I didn't care soi gave to Chase.
- It looks good. - He said looking the cover of it.
- Yeah it is. - I said with a sad smile. That was one of my memories back home.
- Are you okay? - He asked me worried. I didn't want to cry so I clean one tear I had in my face.
- Yeah everything is okay. Well know that you have a book I finished. - I said and turned around. I just wanted to be alone.
- Thanks Leah. - I turned around and I saw him smiling.
- You are welcome. - I told him and I left the room. He was nice to me but I don't deserve him. We can be friends but just friends. After my sister died I promised that I wouldn't fall in love again. I walked around the campus and then I went to the beach. It was down right next to the volleyball place. I took of my shoes and I walked in the sand. The water was pretty cold but the sun was really hot. I sat on the sand and I closed my eyes. I hear the waves and the birds singing, it was beautiful. Then my phone rang.
- Hello? - I said like a question. Then I saw who it was. Oh! I forgot to call back my mom.
- Leah! How are you? Why you didn't call back? - She said sounding worried.
- I am sorry I forgot with everything here. It's been great I mean everyone here is very nice. I have three roommates Grace and Lex. It will be fun because Lex has a twin brother and his friends. - I said smiling.
- Oh! That's great. And don't worry I guess it will be like this you'll be very busy. - She said with a sad voice. What she says it's true because I will be very busy.
- Yeah I know but I'll try to call when I can. I promise. - I said smiling.
- Yeah don't worry it's okay. - She told me with a sad voice. I know she misses me but I think this will be a good experience.
- And how is Jase? - I asked her curiously. I bet he is missing me.
- Well he will miss you a lot. He is already asking me when are you coming back. - I laughed at that. I remember when we were little and he used to asked my mom every five seconds " are we there ". Traveling with him was annoying but fun.
- Well tell him I will go for Christmas. And I will bring many presents. - I said laughing and smiling.
- Yeah I'll tell him that. - She said with a happy voice. We talked for fifteen minutes more and I hang up. I close my eyes and enjoy this moment because tomorrow I will be staring classes. I love the salty smell. I was thinking about my first day at school but suddenly someone touch my shoulder. I opened my eyes and turned around. Aaron was sitting behind me. Why is he here?
- Are you following me? - I asked him with a desperate voice. I have when people follow me it's just annoying.
- Is that wrong? - He asked me worried and laughing. I didn't know what to tell him I mean it's pretty obvious that it is wrong to follow someone everywhere.
- Well it depends.- I said smiling. He did an awkward face. I think he didn't get me.
- And how's that? - Yeah he didn't. He was really funny.
- I mean if you are following me to annoy me or just to flirt. But if you are just here to talk it's okay. - I said smiling.
- Hell no! I am not flirting I am here to know you more and to be friends. - He told me horrified. I just laughed at his face. Okay we just drop something called FRIEND ZONE. But that's great I mean we could just be friends.
- Okay then it's fine if you stay. - I said smiling and laughing.
- So tell me Leah were do you live? - He said curiously.
- London. - I said with a sad smile.
- You liked living there? - He asked me smiling.
- Yeah, but it was time for me to go. - I said smiling convinced that I was in the right place.
- Really? But you said you liked London. - He said very confused. I understand him because I don't even understand me.
- Well I like London but there are just some memoires I want to forget you know. - I said with a sad smile. I felt a tear on me cheeks and Aaron noticed so he cleaned the tear.
- Oh I get it. Actually it happened something like that to me. But you know something, it's not that bad to have memories. Cause people is made by the memories I know it sounds a little weird but it's true. You can't forget your past just because it hurt but you can make your present better. It depends on you, how you want your future. - He said looking at my eyes and smiling. Those words were true and I kind of believe every single word he told me.
- Are you a poet or something? I mean you should write a book. It really helped me. - I said laughing and then he laughed.
- Well I thought of that before but I don't like to share my life. Well at least not with everybody but I think I can trust you many things Leah. - He told me with a cute smile. He was being sincere with me. I think it wouldn't be that bad if I opened myself more.
- Thanks. I umm... My life is really difficult you know. My sister died two years ago and my parents got divorced. So I thought of moving here and start a new life. I know I don't have to forget about everything back in London but it is hard for me. My mom suffers without my dad and we don't even call him. - I didn't noticed I was crying. I had never told this to strangers. My best friend was the only that knew that. But I think it was good to have someone in college who understands you. Aaron hug me and he calm me.
- It's okay Leah. - He didn't say anything else. He just hug me and stay there with me I think him for that.
- Thanks for listening. I think we will be great friends Aaron. - I told him smiling.
- Yeah and I promise I will never tell this to anyone.- He said with a serious look.
- Thanks and just one more think promise me you won't fall in life with me. And I promise I won't fall in love with you. - I said seriously. I just want a boy best friend but every girl o boy with a best friend end up falling in love. And one of them gets hurt at the end. Aaron hesitated but then he talked.
- I.... I promise that I will never fall in love with Lean Johonson. - He said with a sad smile.
