Chapter 13- Acceptance

Bailey's POV
"Bailey..." She says trying to speak. "Bailey..." Tears run down her face and I wipe them with my fingers.

"Yes, Ylona?" I ask her.

"This... I... I... This... Unbelievable... I never thought that you like me back... I mean we've been friends for our entire lifetime, yes... But I..." She says then hugs me. I hug her back.

"I like you so much..." She says. Then we pull out of the hug and she wipes her tears.

"We are still 16, Ylona. So for advance... Will you be my girlfriend when we are 18?" I ask her.

"Yes... But when we are 18. Promise?" Ylona says.

"Promise." I reply and we pinky promise.

"But for the meantime, we are just friends. Best friends." Ylona says and I nod. Then we walk to Ylona's house to tell her parents.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Garcia!" I say.

"Hello Bailey, Ylona." Mrs. Garcia said in her soft voice.

"Mom, dad. Me and Bailey wants to tell you something. In 2 years -when we are 18- we will become.. Girlfriend-boyfriend." Ylona said.

"Yes... I asked her just a while ago. And we are here for your permission. I already asked my parents and they said that they are happy with my choice in life. Now we are asking you." I said.

"We would be more than happy. Bailey, Ylona, you two will be the cutest couple I would ever see." Mr. Garcia said.

"Thank you." Me and Ylona said at the same time.

"No problem. Oh yeah, Bailey! We are about to eat lunch. Wanna join?" Mrs. Garcia asked me.

"Sure! Why not?" I said in acceptance.

Then we are lunch and it was delicious! I love Mrs. Garcia's lasagna! It's meaty and cheesy at the same time! Then it was time for me to leave.

"Goodbye Mr. and Mrs. Garcia! See you tomorrow, Ylona!" I said then left Ylona's house. It was great eating dinner with her family. I went back to my house and went to my room. I started writing a so called 'diary'. It's girly, I know but I want to write down how I feel and what-not. On second thought, maybe I'll just write a journal. Perfect. So I got a spare notebook and a pen and started writing.
