I woke up to my phone going off, I looked to see who it was and it was Justice. Oh shit! I was supposed to be doing Yasmina hair! I thought. I answered the phone.

"Mhmm, wake up."

"I am, why you up so early?"

"Cause I had things to take care. Are you ready?"

"How far are you?"

"Hmmm, about 15 mins away."

"Okay well by the time you get here, I will be ready."

Once I hung up the phone, I rushed to the bathroom and showered. Though I was sore as fuck, I had to stay strong and pull myself together.

By the time Justice pulled up, I just got done doing my hair. I was lucky that Bosco was out and Kim was at work on this lovely Sunday. I grabbed my keys and headed out. Made sure I texted Bosco and told him I was about to meet Kels somewhere. Though Bosco is a very fucked up person, he does not play when it comes to Kels. That's his baby and he would kill and be killed for her so knowing him, he wasn't going to ask questions.

"It's about time" Justice joked as I got into the car.

"Hush."

We started towards Yasmina's house, which didn't take no more than seven minutes till we pulled and he parked.

I looked over at him and he motioned his head towards the house, "A nigga tryna eat tonight so I need to go up in there and say hello to my madre. You are welcomed to come in, she aint mean to other people."

I shrugged and followed his lead. He had a key and let himself in. The house smelled like nothing but food. The first place he strolled to was the kitchen, which at the time was no one in it. Once he started to open what looked like mac'n'cheese, a high yellow lady came walking in behind him, smacking his hand away.

"Boy, don't you go digging in the damn food!"

"Ma stop, I'm hungry."

"I don't care, maybe you need to ease off these good for nothing ass girls and find you one that can cook." She then turned to me and made a face that looked like she said a bad word or something, "Oh gah, I didn't see you there. Justice Elliot Santiga! Why you didn't tell me you were bringing somebody."

"I-"he began but she cut him off.

"SHUT UP!" she walked over to me and gave me a hug. "I am Justice's mother, Janee, nice to meet you."

"I am Kina, nice to meeting you also." I smiled.

"I didn't mean what I said a second ago."

"Yes you did", he mumbled.

"Boy, hush."

He took advantage that Janee's attention was not set on him so he started back picking at the food.

"It's okay. I hope he finds a female that can cook too", I joked.

"Oh... so you two aren't together?"

"Nope" I looked over at Justice who was munching on a roll.

"Then who..." she began.

"That's Kelly's sister, the one who supposed to be doing Yassy hair today", he paused, "Speaking of..... YASMINA CHANEL!! LETS GO!" he yelled out.

Janee turned around to catch him still eating the roll. "Shut the hell up yelling and get out of my KITCHEN EATING UP THE FOOD."

He smiled at her, showing off his dimples. I could tell those melt her heart every time because it does for me. She smiled back at him and pushed him out the kitchen. That's how a mother is supposed to be, and I smiled at the sight.
