Chapter 9-One Direction Isn't One Direction Without Harry

*Zayn's POV*

"Guys c'mon let's face it we're nothing without Harry," Liam sighs.

It's been two weeks since Eleanor's little "incident" with the snake. Since then, she has been so terrified to be locked in any sort of environment. She refuses to be alone so apparently the snake really impacted her life and now she just isn't the same because she believes that someone set up the snake to go after her. Which, I can see where she's getting at because the snake only went after Eleanor and completely ignored Louis. If someone did set her up, I have no idea who would. Maybe Louis? Because he was pissed at her for cheating but Louis wouldn't have saved her then. Well, he might've because he probably felt bad and didn't think the snake would actually try to kill her. He probably just wanted to scare her is all.

Eleanor buries her face in the crook of Louis' neck. He hasn't left her side since the accident so I doubt it was him but you never know. The good thing is that at least she's alright. I look around at the lads, seeming to mind their own business. Ever since Harry left for his honeymoon our performances have sucked.........badly. It's not that we don't like Liz it's just we really want him to come home, like, now.

As we're sitting amongst the awkward silence, the phone suddenly rings. I begin to get up to answer the phone when suddenly Niall bolts up out of his seat, so I sit back down to let him get it. Niall grabs the phone and looks at the caller ID before pressing answer.

"Hello?" Niall greets, "oh hi. No we're not doing anything important just sitting around relaxing. We do? Um........alright. I guess we'll see you then. Alright, bye."

"Who was that?" I ask.

"Paul. He booked an interview for us tonight. I don't know why since Harry's not here but whatever. He said that we have to leave now," Niall explains.

"But guys," Eleanor whines, "what about me?"

"Stay here," Niall shrugs, not seeing the problem.

"No. I refuse to stay home alone. I know someone's out to get me."

"You're just being paranoid babe," Louis mumbles as he gives her a quick kiss, "you'll be fine. I'll be home as soon as I can."

"I am not being paranoid. That snake was no accident!" Eleanor yells as she begins to curl up into a ball.

"The snake probably found a way inside. No one's here but us so no one's out to get you," Liam adds.

I get up off the couch and walk out the front door to see a limo parked out front to take us to the interview. I walk over and hop inside and get comfy. Niall and Liam hop in shortly after, leaving us to wait on Louis.

"I love Eleanor but she's so whiny sometimes," Niall mutters as he watches Louis and Eleanor.

"I can't believe you had sex with her-" Liam begins.

"You did what now?!?" I gasp.

"How the hell did you find out?!?" Niall snaps.

"Eleanor told me-"

"So don't go around telling people!!!!" Niall yells, "she conned me into having sex with her. I'm just the victim in this situation. Don't go blaming me for sleeping with her."

"You'll be fine. Just call us if you need anything," Louis calls as he begins walking towards the limo.

"Finally," Liam huffs, growing impatient.

"Sorry. Eleanor was being a pain," Louis mumbles as he hops in.

When the driver hears Louis shut his door, he drives away to the interview. About an hour later we arrive at a small office. We nervously walk inside to see a beautiful woman in her twenties greet us.

"Hello boys. I'm Sammy," she smiles as she greets each of us by giving us a hug, "please, have a seat."

Sammy does a little hand motion to usher us to the seats. I take a seat in-between Niall and Liam. Niall is on one end and Louis is on the other, next to Liam so it goes from left to right: Niall, me, Liam, and Louis.

"I'm doing an interview for the next edition of J-14 magazine," she begins as she takes a seat, "so how's everything been going so far?"

"Good, everything's good," Louis answers while confidently nodding his head.

"This is a question I'm sure all of our readers are dying to know, who here is single?"

I look left and right to see that none of the boys raise their hands.

"I'm surprised. So who are you all going out with?"

"I'm going out with Danielle," Liam begins.

"Eleanor," Louis adds.

"Perrie," I state.

"R-Rachel," Niall nervously mumbles while he scratches the back of his head.

I give Niall a funny look and I can tell he noticed me, but he just seems to ignore me. I can tell he's hiding something, I just don't know what, but I wanna find out...........

We continue answering a few stupid questions that we answer in every single interview. And then she begins getting to the serious questions.

"So how was your last concert?" She asks.

"It went alright. It could've been better," Niall pipes up.

He seems unusually quiet...........

"So.........." she trails off, "I notice Harry's not with you guys today. So, where's Harry?"
