Chapter 2: And We Meet Again

"Me." I said half expecting her to walk over here and slap me-major deja vu-and start yelling at me.

"You." she said again, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"Me." I said again, suddenly starting to think of when she kissed me.

"You are late Leo Valdez." she said with a smirk. "I was expecting that you would get me off that island sooner so I could, yet again, tell you how much I hate you," Calypso said walking towards me with her arms still crossed.

"Yeah well Sunshine," I said putting my hands in my front pants pockets, "I was kind of busy saving the world and what not," by this time we were right in front of each other, close enough to touch, close enough to kiss.

"So I would appreciate-" she cut me off right there. She put her palms on my cheeks, and started to kiss my lips. I put my right arm around her shoulders and my left hand on her lower back and drew her closer to me. And for a girl that hated my guts so much, she sure didn't seem like she was going to stop kissing me anytime soon, but that was okay with me.

She pulled away a fraction of an inch. "I missed you Repair Boy." she murmured softly, like she was about to cry.

"I missed you to Sunshine." I said holding on to her while she placed another soft kiss on my lips. This time she did start to cry, a soft silent kind of crying that broke my heart because I could feel her tears run down her cheeks and land on her lips.

I pulled back just slightly and said, "Why are you crying Sunshine?"

"Because you're the first one to keep your promise. You got me off that island and rescued me."

"Well that's sweet. It truly is, but, Calypso how on Earth do you know Leo?" Percy said sounding so confused that I chuckled as I turned around slipping Calypso in front of me and both of my arms around her so I could clasp them together over her stomach.

"Well, long story short, Khonie didn't like me and she sent me to Ogygia, with Sunshine here and then a few days later that raft came, and I swore on the River Styx that I would be back for her so there you have it." I said watching Percy's eyes bug out of his head.

"But I thought the raft only-oh. Calypso. Honey. You fell in love with Valdez? Don't you know he's nothing, and I mean nothing, but trouble? I mean come on! He flirts with tons of girls! I mean sure they laugh at him but still. Really? How did he make you fall in love with him? Did he make some sort of love device?" Percy asked shaking his head and laughing slightly. Probably at the thought of me rigging up some device to make Calypso fall head over heels for me.

"No he did not! Why would you accuse him of doing such a horrible thing?" Calypso asked totally mystified at what Percy said.

"Oh dear. You're defending him. This crush must be bad." Percy said jokingly.

"Oh ha ha. Very funny Kelp Face." Calypso retorted. "I so remember that you promised that you would get me off that stupid island. And did you?"

"Um ow." Percy said. "Okay I deserve that. I fully admit to that, but did you have to curse my girlfriend?"

Calypso's body went stiff. I could feel her shrink down in my arms a little bit. "Oh...um...so you found out?"

"Yes. I did. In Tartarus." Percy said. "And FYI I don't think that was very mature. And I definitely don't think that the Calypso I met would've done that. And if you absolutely felt the need to get mad at someone and take that anger out by cursing someone, that you very well could've cursed me since I was the one that left you on the island, not Annabeth."

"Well...I...um..." Calypso was stuttering.

"Not very sure how to respond to that one are you 'Sunshine'?" Percy said wrapping his arm around Annabeth's shoulder while smirking slightly.

"Excuse me! Did I say that you could call me Sunshine? Because I am very, very, very, sure that I certainly did NOT!" Calypso said.

"How come you don't yell at Leo? Oh wait a sec, I almost forgot. You love him don't you?" Percy said in a very immature sing-song voice.

"No. I hate him." Calypso stated.

"Yeah, sure you do." Percy said actually full force laughing at that thought of Calypso hating me.

"Hey I am immortal! I can-" Calypso started before Zeus cut her off by clearing his throat, which also got Percy to shut on and wipe off all evidence of a smile off of his face.

"Calypso. Leo has wished that I get you off of the island of Ogygia, and I did. However he also wished that you could in turn have a wish as an apology present." Zeus said. "So what do you wish for?"

"I wish..." Calypso said and looked me in the eyes.

I turned to partially face the gods, and to partially face her.

"I wish that I was a mortal 14 year old girl." She said and smiled, at me, when she said it.

If the gods and the others had had water or some other liquid in their mouths they would have done a spit-take.

"Why in Tartarus would you want that?" all of the gods exclaimed at the same time.

"Because," she said as she completely turned her body to face me, and take my hands in hers, "I want to be with Leo."

"WHY?" asked everyone in the room. Everyone. In. The. Throne. Room. Every. Last. Being. Can I just say hurtful? But I really didn't care because that's when Calypso said

"I love him. I love him more than I have ever loved anything or anyone. He kept his promise. He showed that he is committed. He showed me how hard of a worker he is. I know he loves me back, and feels it just as strong as I do. And that is everything that I could ever want and all I will ever need." She said as she leaned in for another kiss.
