Willie and I have a horse show this weekend! We are doing the 2'3" hunters and I am so excited! My lesson was AMAZING Willie was so good! We worked on cantering into lines and staying at a SLOW even pace. Willie tends to speed up in lines and he gets this momentum out of the first jump and uses it to his advantage and runs through lines. We did this super wide 2'9" oxer and it was our first 3'6" vertical! Willie was so good and felt really adjustable.  I don't know if I mentioned it in my fist entry but Willie is a 12 year old Hannoverian Dappled Grey Gelding. If you would like to know more about my purchasing him and the first few weeks my other book The Completely Unscripted Diary of a Horse Rider will be updated soon. We worked on lengthening and collecting the canter as well and keeping him in tuned to my leg. It was also an amazing lesson for the other girl in my lesson!
