ROBIN. ︽⊙_⊙︽

I was eating tri-colored radiatore for dinner in my room, listening for mom. It turns out she was actually 2 months pregnant but didn't know before she told us.

She was in pain and I feel bad, I wonder if I did that to her when she was pregnant with me?

Something crashes through my window... a shoe?

I warily put my dinner down on my bed and crawl to the broken window, with my fork in my hand as a weapon , narrowly avoiding the glass, to see if someone was trying to break into my apartment. Not that it happens a lot, especially not in this part of town, I just had to be sure.

Okay, no ones there. But I do have a bad feeling about something.

I look around, Kristen. Its gotta be him.

"Robinson, what happen ? "Ian came into my room in pajamas and a half braided head.

I shrug and put on my sneakers.

"So where you going? Where's noodle? "

"I don't really know Ian, I'm going to check up on him."

He stretched his arms up." I come too? "

"Not this time, it's a man's job. " Hahaha, I always wanted to say that.

"But you're only- "

"Shut the fuck up, Ian. Get out my room! "

He laughed and ran out.

I soon follow suit. I cross the street, more things; books, boxes, pens were chucked out the window of Kristen's floor.

Just wtf?

I went to the lobby, the young unnatural blond security guard seated at the desk looked up at me.

She smiled brightly ," may I help you? If you need a- "

I don't have time for this. "Which apartment does Kristen Gates live in? " I know the floor just not the apartment number.

" Oh ,I don't know if you really should be up there, he's- he's having a... moment. "

"A moment? ! What the- if you don't tell me what fucking apartment he's in , I swear I will get you fired. "

"I -okay? " she tells me the apartment number, floor, the whole nine, then asks me to sign my name, date and my address in a thick book labeled "Gates visitors" there were a few names before mine of the same date, most of them Gates.

"Why did I do that? "

"Oh, uh his parents require all his visitors to do it. Its their policy."

"Their- ok I gotta go." Seriously, that's weird.

I took the elevator to the 5th floor, walked with caution to the end of the noisy hallway where there was Kristen's door cracked open the slightest bit. I pushed the door in a little more and leaned into the doorway.

"Kristen? " I dared to step in further when something in the pit of my stomach curled in uneasily.

I strolled in, peeked in every room, closet, pantry (I don't know why I looked in there -but just in case...) they had a really nice abode, all the furniture was neutral colored with pops of color here and there in the accessories, except the fact that everything was knocked down, broken or misplaced and cracked.

The beige couch cushions where everywhere but the couch, vases and other expensive looking decor where scattered in pieces around ,littering the space with sharp pieces of glass and ceramic.
