Clair arrived home from a long day of high school. She honestly wished that they would let high schools burn to the ground. But she was a little more depressed of the fact that her dad kept trying to hook her up with some guy that Clair didn't care about. She slumped down lazily on her bed when she heard her dad call her.
"Clair! Come downstairs! I have someone for you to meet!" he called.
"Okay." She sighed angrily, getting back up to her feet and walking downstairs.
A boy stood in front of her with his suit clinging tightly to his body. His hair was perfectly straight, much unlike Clair's sexuality. Her dad looked at her in disgust.
"Go get yourself dressed properly! You're going on a date!" He said, jerking his head suggestively towards to man.
Clair grunted and walked back to her room. She hated her family and her dates. She dare say that the only person she liked was herself. She slid on a long dress that she almost tripped over, some small flats and she put her hair up in a bun. She walked back down into the room.
"Lets get this over with." She sighed, trying to keep the dress from tripping her.
"Don't worry. She's just being modest." Her dad said.
She sighed again and went outside. She climbed into the man's car and they drove off. Clair leaned over to him in the first few minutes of the car ride and whispered.
"Listen, I don't like you. In fact, I hate you already, but I'm only doing this so father will leave me alone."
The man nodded sadly as they pulled up to the restaurant. When they arrived, they talked and talked. The more they talked, the more she hated him. He honestly was selfish and rude, so even if Clair was straight, she wouldn't date him under any circumstance.
She did a little fist pump when she arrived back home and dumped 'John'. She ran back inside and threw her dress on the floor quickly as she walked into her room.
"How'd It Go, Honey?"
"Terrible. He Was The Most Inconsiderate, Idiotic And Rudest Person I Have Ever Met!"
"Oh, That's Okay."
"And Don't Try To Find Me Another One."
"Why Not?"
"Well Dad......I'm A Lesbian."
"What?"
"Les-b-ian."
"Get out."
"Wha-?"
"I said GET OUT! A LESBIAN IS NO DAUGHTER OF MINE!"
"Fine! I Hated You Anyway, You Prick!"
She stormed into her room, ignoring her dad's yells of insults. She Threw a lot of things into an old book bag that she used in 3rd grade. She threw in some books, snacks, knives, clothes and her computer as she slung it over her shoulder and went to the door. She turned around.
"Bye!" She said, much to her dad's annoyance, happily and slammed the door open then ran out of the house.
"You'll Be Crawling Back Here After A While!" Her dad yelled with a defeated sigh.
He absolutely hated gays.
"Stupid Idiot." She huffed, making her way down the street.
She arrived in the woods and let her hair droop down to her waist. She sat beside a tree and opened up her computer to document some things on Microsoft word for her later use.
